Podcast Movement: Evolutions is coming up in only a couple of weeks! This conference is similar to the other closely named “Podcast Movement” but focuses more on the emerging technology and trends of the podcasting industry.
There is plenty to see, learn, and do when attending this conference! From informative & inspiring talks, to hands on demonstrations of the newest podcast technology, to networking events, there’s a little something for everyone attending.

What Is Podcast Movement: Evolutions?

Podcast Movement: Evolutions is the smaller, more industry-focused version of the much bigger and more general Podcast Movement. Both conferences give podcasters and industry professionals a chance to meet, mingle, and learn from each other. The advantage of Podcast Movement: Evolutions, as compared to the bigger conference, is the greater chance to network with fellow podcasters and industry professionals (like the team at RedCircle!)
PM:E (Podcast Movement: Evolutions) is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. CDT on April 1st, 2025. Most attendees are expected to arrive on Monday, March 31st, though, to grab their badges at the hotel mixer the evening before.
What To Expect
Like most things that require effort, you get out of it what you put in! The amount of effort you put into this conference equates to what you’ll gain from it. Luckily, this guide is here to help manage expectations and help you start on the right foot.
The Main Focus
Talks, talks, and even more talks! The main happenings at PM:E are the numerous talks. Talks range from TedTalk-style presentations to casual conversations with newly-made acquaintances. Be sure to take advantage of these conversations as you could gain invaluable insight into podcasting as whole. We recommend podcasters follow one of the three Podcaster Tracks: “Podcaster: Create”, “Podcaster: Growth”, and “Podcaster: Profit”. Each track is designed to help you either to create, grow, or monetize your podcast!

Get Comfortable
We’re talking physically and mentally! You’ll be walking around the conference hall most of the day, so be sure to wear comfy clothes and shoes! You’ll also want to make sure you’re comfortable chatting with other folks; pitching your show, handing out business cards, and sharing more about yourself. PM:E is one of the biggest networking events of the year!
More Words of Advice
The most important piece of advice we can give is to be curious. Spend time walking around the conference absorbing all that you can. Ask questions, learn what’s being offered, and take full advantage of the wealth of knowledge being shared liberally around. Have a good time and soak it all in!
