Your Next Subscriber Is Already on YouTube

YouTube is now the #1 place people say they go for podcasts. Edison Research found that 37% of weekly podcast consumers now name YouTube as the platform they use most to consume podcasts, up from 31% just two years ago, overtaking Spotify. For podcasters, YouTube is where you go to grow your audience and your revenue. At RedCircle we’re watching the trends, we’re looking at the data, and we’re investing where we see growth and opportunities for our podcasters and our advertisers. That’s why we’re investing our time and resources into video.

In early August, we launched the ability for hosted shows on Pro and Enterprise tiers to publish video versions of their podcasts directly to YouTube, without ever leaving RedCircle. With RedCircle’s new YouTube integration and tools, you can:

  • Connect your channel with granular settings: Set your default video visibility, YouTube category, and a default playlist
  • Publish everywhere in one click: RedCircle and YouTube go live together. No separate export, no re-uploading, no second content calendar to manage.
  • Edit YouTube details anytime: Update your title, description, or publish date whenever you need to.
  • Skip video production entirely: Upload a video file during episode creation, or let RedCircle auto-generate a video from an audio-only episode.

Publishing to YouTube puts your show in front of viewers who may never touch a podcast app, expanding your total addressable audience beyond the podcast ecosystem. YouTube crossed 1 billion monthly active podcast viewers in 2025, and in a December 2025 recap, it reported podcast viewers streamed over 700 million hours of podcasts on TV and living room devices in October 2025 alone.

Reaching a new audience used to mean building a whole separate operation. Now it just means turning on a setting, without adding a second team, a second timeline, or a second workflow to your show. With RedCircle, expanding into Video is simple.

This is just the first step for RedCircle and Video. Right now, YouTube is one of many video distribution points we’re planning to help podcasters reach. As we continue on we’ll focus on making the video ad buying experience just as easy and seamless as the rest of RedCircle.
