A Conversation with Journalist, Producer & Author, Laura Krantz

Season 6 | Episode 131
52m | Apr 9, 2024

Her quest for answers initially began with Sasquatch. Her quest for Sasquatch initially began with the surprising discovery - that it kind of runs in the family.

Recently I had the pleasure of speaking with journalist, podcaster and author, Laura Krantz. We discuss some of her many projects, including her podcast, Wild Thing and her middle grade book series inspired by the show. We also delve into her journey, thoughts and approach to the topic of Bigfoot and the discovery of her relation to one of the most well known, respected and beloved figures in the field.

****Laura Krantz is a seasoned journalist, editor and producer, in both audio and print. Her independent podcast Wild Thing received critical acclaim, reached the top of Apple’s charts, and served as the inspiration for a series of non-fiction, middle-grade books from ABRAMS Kids. Krantz’s portfolio includes reporting, editing, and production work on multiple podcasts. Her prior experience involved a decade of editing and producing at NPR HQ in DC and at KPCC in Los Angeles.
