Awarded an MBE for his Services to Athletics in 2022, he is now training to defend his Paralympic title at Paris 2024, alongside empowering and educating others on mind-set management and bridging the gap between the able and slightly less able

Coach Mike Ashton is a former track and field athlete and now coach at Utah Valley University.
As an athlete he was mainly a pole vaulter but, competed in high jump, long jump triple jump, sprints and the heptathlon/decathlon. He won multiple conference championships in the Great West and WAC conferences and graduated in 2015.
As a coach, Mike has coached high jump, sprints and pole vault at the high school level and joined the UVU coaching yeah, staff in 2021. He coaches pole vault, high jump and the multi-eventers. Last season his men’s high jump crew ended the season ranked #7 in the country with an average height of 2.07m (6’9.5)

In high school she not only won the state title, but was 3-time LA City Section Champ and was both the Arcadia and Mt. Sac Invitational champion 2014! In college at Cal, she was a 3-time NCAA finalist and All-American, a 4-time NCAA Regional qualifier a 2-time PAC-12 Podium finisher (3rd) and a team captain. She is now a private coach, and works with the horizontal jumps at Goldenwest College in the OC.
