Unfortunately, when she denies a loan to Mrs. Ganush (Lorna Raver) who is about to have her house foreclosed on, things go wrong for Christine and quickly. Mrs. Ganush attacks Christine, gums her and curses her. Now, Christine races against time to break the curse or she’ll be taken to hell. Bummer! Unhelpful boyfriend Clay (Justin Long) and fortune teller Rham Jas (Dileep Rao) join Christine on this journey. A goat eventually shows up, too! Grand Slam! La-Mar guards all of his buttons. Keeping all those buttons close to his vest. Collin guards all kittens from sacrificial harm. An army of felines is slowly growing. The RTS crew took a field trip to see the new Street Fighter. There’s a mini review of that. There will be trivia. There will be general Halloween merriment! Carve your pumpkins, grab a handful of candy and join us for a ghoulish good time.

Know what sounds like a grand time? Let’s all go to a dusty, mold-infested gross house for a swell party and a make out session. Clearly, we all need to bring some nitwits with poor decision-making skills. And demons! We need those hungry demons. Clorissa (Joanna Canton), her cute goth friend, Mo (Megahn Perry), and her brother Brant (Liam Kyle Sullivan) bring those friends. They even bring Frijole (Richard Trapp). Frijole! Looks like we need Christine (Adrienne Barbeau) to clean up this unholy mess! RTS is at Denny’s with Coolio! Where the hell else would they be? “Denny’s is for winners!” Mike might not be here for this, but he is hitting up that Grand Slam menu. Jeremy meets some true ride or die friends with Saul (David Gunn) and Dickie-Boy (Kelly Mantle). He gets a nice discount at Dairy Queen now. La-Mar likes the beheading demons and setting them on fire method. He doesn’t even ask questions later. That’s hardcore! Before it’s Halloween this year, try not use a bunch of virgins to create the Antichrist. Not cool! We hope you enjoy this fun, spooky bonus episode. Enjoy it forever! Mwhahhahahha!

Mean ol’ Warlock (Julian Sands) is transported from 1691 Boston to present day (late 80s) L.A. He crashes right into Kassandra’s (Lori Singer) house and turns her mundane world into chaos. It’s like Cat in the Hat with black magic and murder. Witch hunter Giles Redferene (Richard E. Grant) has been tracking this Warlock through time. Will he be able to stop him now? No matter what, he’s going to have a California adventure. He’ll even fly in a plane for the first time. Meanwhile, Warlock is trying to assemble The Grand Grimoire to put an end to earth. Boy, will he talk about that. RTS takes on all sorts of brutes in an epic barn battle. Jeremy salts his whip tips for magical defense and pleasure. La-Mar takes a pair of psychic eyes to the track. Time to put a little psychic luck on the ponies. Collin goes on a hex spree. Everyone’s getting hexed unless you give him candy. This holiday season, let this sassy warlock fly right into your heart. Well, after he makes some fresh kid butter and heats it in his velvet pouch.

Click click click. Here comes the scurrying of the ticks. A group of mismatched teens with various needs go into the woods led by social workers, Charles (Peter Scolari) and Holly (Rosalind Allen). When the social workers aren’t trying to sex themselves up or work the rusty grill, they make sure the teens walk aimlessly in the woods to build skills? Confidence? New fears? Boredom? Tyler (Seth Green) is one of those teens. So is Darrel ‘Panic’ Lumley (Alfonso Ribeiro). Dee Dee (Ami Dolenz) is there. She can do no wrong/is always welcome at Rabbit Troop. Near the camp, a bunch of weirdos are growing marijuana crops with plant steroids, and, of course, this causes some ravenous mutated ticks to seek out and drain everyone. Does that tick you off? RTS considers Jeremy’s ongoing plan of getting in a van and driving off as fast and far as possible. Jeremy is in that van! As soon as he saw the first tick, vroooooooom! La-Mar wields a flaming broom that would put a Jedi to shame. The ticks, they are-a exploding! Collin learns from the ticks and studies their culture. Since then, he has become an honorary tick father and ambassador to their species. Put on some bug spray, and let’s all go into the woods. Alas, Brutus the dog, you deserved better.

Radu (Anders Hove) is an angry, mean vampire. He just offed his daddy, King Vladislav (Angus Scrimm), stole the Blood Stone, and he broke the truce between the local human folk and vampires. This guy really needs to calm down – he needs to sit down and have some nice Transylvanian gabagool. While all this vampire shifting hierarchy stuff is taking place, three students, Mara (Irina Movila), Michelle (Laura Mae Tate) and Lillian (Michelle McBride), arrive to study some Romanian culture – and to wander aimlessly with questionable actions. They meet secret vampire (and Radu’s brother) Stefan (Michael Watson) and cause a lot of agita throughout the village. RTS joins Karl (Ivan J. Rado) to blast vamps with some Rosary beads. Adorable minion demons try to sub Mike. Jeremy doesn’t like the goblets of blood, but he is down for a couple of jars of your finest tom-tom chunky. La-Mar creates the most amazing ancient oak stakes. Let the slaying begin! Collin blows the magical flute and summons the Guzzlers food truck. Safe at last! Let’s get a game of poker going with the minions. After, cuddle up in your stiffest coffin for your much needed sleep.

In the late 50s some weird, smooth aliens dropped a slug vial upon Earth. After some strange and disastrous events, we contained it. Unfortunately, in 1986, a couple of college students, Chris (Jason Lively) and J.C. (Steve Marshall), release a slug-infected corpse that exposes the town to danger – and a good time for the audience. Chris will do all that he can to make sure his dream gal, Cynthia (Jill Whitlow), is safe. If she gets a case of the slug-brain, it might not be good for their potential relationship. Detective Ray Cameron (Tom Atkins) can’t get over the events from 27 years ago, so now that he has a badge and some authority, he uses his unhinged dialogue and questionable police tactics to put an end to this alien slug nonsense. RTS teams up with Walt (Dick Miller) and takes the flamethrower for a little spin. Jeremy knows it’s Miller time from the start! It’s also Miller time in the middle and the end. La-Mar views the entire town from afar. He enjoys the security of his remote safehouse. It has cable TV! Collin tapes his mouth and burns all in his path. Burn, baby! Burn! Enjoy your night at the sorority dance. “Thrill me!”

JCVD is back for another flick! We have already warned you. Get ready for some serious Van-damage from this Van-dingo! This is even his directorial debut. It’s 1925 and Christopher Dubois (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is running a pickpocket ring with children like he just read Oliver Twist. After robbing some gangsters goes wrong, Christopher is able to escape by stowing away on a boat which leads him to being enslaved by the crew and then saved by Lord Edgar Dobbs (Roger Moore) and Harry Smythe (Jack McGee). These two gents then sell Christopher in Siam. For some reason he begins training in Muay Thai. He dominates and wants to go to the Lost City in Tibet for a fancy tournament fight – winner gets a golden dragon. They all team up with the U.S. heavyweight boxing champion, Maxie Devine (James Remar), and reporter Carrie Newton (Janet Gunn). RTS takes in the tame attempts at tournament fighting brutality. They also take in a few Mai Tais. Jeremy keeps the golden dragon! He fought for it! It’s his souvenir forever! La-Mar rids the streets of all clown boys. We just can’t have that happening in a civilized society. Along the way, you might be questioning your own quest in watching this film. “It was long ago.”

Thank you to our listener, Ryan, for requesting this ninja versus samurai goodness. Also, this one goes out to Paul’s friend Paul. They saw this one in the theater so long ago. While on business in Nagoya, Japan, Paul Racine (Christopher Lambert) hooks up with Kirina (Joan Chen) who is a million times out of his league. He later returns to her hotel room just in time to witness a ninja assassination on her life and the ninja cult leader Kinjo’s (John Lone) unmasked face. A samurai couple, Takeda (Yoshio Harada) and Mieko (Yoko Shimada), attempt to help Paul. He’s being HUNTED! But, in reality, Paul becomes bait to lure Kinjo out. Who will be victorious? RTS shares a bottle of saké with Oshima (Tak Kubota). They wake up with so much folded steel. Jeremy witnesses some ninja carnage on a train. He pours himself a large glass of Suntory whisky off to the side. La-Mar arrives with many metal briefcases and many shuriken. Collin finds the ninja spawn points and turns them off. As simple as that! Put on your piggy underwear, pick up a rusty sword and get ready for battle.

Three New York kids, Tommy (Aeryk Egan), Bill (Bo Sharon) and Freddie (Darris Love), are getting bullied by the local street toughs, the Vipers. Tommy films their crimes and hands it over to the cops. The Vipers, led by Vinnie (A.J. Damato), do not like this at all. They are ordered by crime boss Big Moe (Meg Foster) to take the kids out. They do! Luckily, Mr. Sumatra (Julius Harris) uses his Haitian voodoo magic to turn them into avenging shrunken heads that have powers (of sorts) and fly all around the city fighting crime. Also, Tommy reconnects with his love, Sally (Rebecca Herbst). Can this romance work out? RTS discovers their own voodoo priest powers and invests in a full living room cauldron. Mike got shrunk! La-Mar puts on a suit and handles things the Haitian way. Collin does things with a switchblade that will make your head spin. In the end, New York will be safe and super weird.

It’s 1935, and we are treated to an adventure that starts in Shanghai and takes us to India. It’s a prequel for Dr. Jones. For some, this is considered a darker and polarizing film in the franchise. Indiana Jones (Harrison Ford), Willie Scott (Kate Capshaw) and Short Round (Ke Huy Quan) survive a plane crash in India and are told by local villagers that this has been fated so they will help retrieve the villager’s sacred Sankara stone and find their kidnapped children. The group travels to Pankot Palace where they quickly learn that there is a resurgence of the Thuggee cult being led by Mola Ram (Amrish Puri) – human sacrifices and all. Strap in for minecart rides, tunnels of bugs, blood potions and more! RTS covers their hearts. Mike might have checked out after the soup was served. Jeremy is all about the “fortune and glory, kid” He’s trying to get those diamonds. La-Mar disapproves of “snake surprise.” He’s not thrilled with dessert either. Collin grabs a torch and burns everyone back to reality. Be careful! Don’t let the crocs get you! “Hang on lady, we going for a ride!”

A crazy special forces officer, Colonel Hogan (David Campbell), has been hired to train a bunch of inept people to become mercenaries. For what purpose? You will never know. Their training process is to abduct people from the streets, set them loose in the woods (75 miles southeast of L.A.) and hunt them for training purposes. One of the people they kidnap is Mike Danton (Ted Prior). He was about to sex up his wife, Jaimy (Suzanne Tara), but when he quickly steps out to take out the trash, he’s nabbed. Jaimy calls her cop daddy (Cameron Mitchell) for assistance, and he investigates Hogan’s compound. As Mike is hunted in the woods, he turns the tables and wrecks shop. He also, for some reason, refuses to pick up any weapons, ammunition, rations, etc… That’s hardcore! RTS teams up with Cooper (Wiliam Zipp) to unleash maximum damage. Our Mike saw the worm eating scene and politely exited himself. Jeremy decides this camp is not for him and heads to a nice Hyatt hotel. Room service is welcome. La-Mar, through a series of explosions, shows you his calling card. BOOM! If you’re getting beat with your own arm, you just met the deadly prey.

Deadly Prey

She dead! Wait! Mom of the year (Concetta Tomei) leaves for Australia for a couple of months. She hires some rando strict babysitter to take charge of her five kids during that time. A day later, she dead! The oldest, Sue Ellen, also known as Swell, (Christina Applegate) thought she was going to have a relaxed summer full of lazy days. Now, unless she wants to tell mom, she is forced to get a job to feed the family. Being broke is no joke! Swell makes up her credentials on her resume and gets hired as an executive assistant to Rose (Joanna Cassidy) at an apparel company. Her oldest brother Kenny (Keith Coogan) gets it together to pitch in (and to get a date with a sexy nurse). Even Clown Dog delivery boy Bryan (Josh Charles) is able to assist the family. Everyone is trying to figure Swell out. If she can stay aloof enough and keep up her work, summer might be okay after all. RTS cleans up their acts and houses. Where is Mike? Does he even know that the “dishes are done, man”? Jeremy experiences a 48-hour orgasm without going to Santa Barbara. La-Mar tells everyone to go to bed. They do! Collin hands out cucumbers for everyone. You’ll thank him later. If you need anything along the way, dip into the petty cash. You’ll need to before you go “marketing.”

You’re going to happily baby step your way right into this film. Dr. Leo Marvin (Richard Dreyfuss) is a somewhat prickly pear of a fella. He has just published a book and is about to take his family, Fay (Julie Hagerty), Siggy (Charlie Korsmo) and Anna (Kathryn Erbe), on a month-long summer vacation to their summer home in New Hampshire. Dr. Marvin takes on Bob Wiley (Bill Murray) as a new patient before his trip with the fam, and Bob takes his obsessive attachment and neurotic tendencies to a new level by tracking Dr. Marvin down. Good thing for Bob is that, outside of Dr. Marvin, everyone in the family loves him! Meanwhile, Leo is losing it! RTS enjoys comfort food on these hot summer nights. It’s all so scrumptious. “Is this hand-shucked?” Jeremy gets strapped to a boat and goes sailing. He’s a sailor. He sails now. La-Mar finds out the hard way that there are two types of people, “those who like Neil Diamond, and those who don’t.” Collin learns that bouts of Tourette’s can be fun with friends in the night. He hasn’t been the same since. If you need anything, we have some Death Therapy to help you.

What About Bob

“Hardbodies. You know, the little foxes down on the beach.” The quote says it all. Three middle-aged jamokes, Hunter (Gary Wood), Rounder (Michael Rapport) and Ashby (Sorrells Pickard), rent a sweet beach pad for the summer. They have a great place and what seems like unlimited funds, and they want to meet some hardbodies. These questionable gents lack the skills to meet ladies, so they hire Scotty (Grant Cramer), a young buck that they drain and magically harness his powers into magical amulets. That may or may not seem right. Regardless, Scotty’s girlfriend, Kristi (Teal Roberts), seems sometimes put off by some of these things. Also, Hunter tries to ruin it all by being a putz. RTS learns about Southern Comfort and computer madness. It’s how you gain entrance to “a hidden valley of hardbodies.” Jeremy embraces these frequent beach house parties. Endless summer! Collin wants you to know that “you don’t know what it’s like when people call you names like airhead, ding-a-ling, yo-yo, bimbo. There’s no way you can know that.” You know it now! Hardbodies!

Donna (Dona Speir) is an undercover DEA agent working some kind of flight/delivery service with her friend Taryn (Hope Marie Carlton). They dress like go-go dancers who might hunt big game in the outback. Also, they hate wearing their tops! It’s hot out! Very hot! Through a series of events, these scantily clad women disrupt a diamond exchange from Mr. Chang (Peter Bromilow). Needless to say, he is not pleased. Donna calls in some backup from Rowdy (Ronn Moss) and Jade (Harold Diamond). Now, between sex sessions, these four can do some stuff or something. Oh, by the way, there is also a killer snake that “has been infected by deadly toxins from cancer infested rats.” The snake is so angry! RTS hangs on to the second box of diamonds. Time to fund a summer party! Jeremy questions the assassin doing a handstand on a skateboard. He must be “smoking some heavy doobies.” Good thing there’s a blowup doll. La-Mar becomes an ace shot with a rocket launcher. Moving targets be warned! Collin makes sure that your dreams are his lunch. Can all of these former Playboy Playmates save the day? Does it matter? You’ll have fun watching, kemosabe.

It’s our anniversary! Thank you for listening! Let’s celebrate at the beach. Hoops (John Cusack) and his buddy George (Joel Murray) have just graduated high school. They’re both a bit directionless, so they decide to spend their summer in Nantucket. Hoops needs to find himself. Is it that kind of summer? Sure is! And, Cassandra (Demi Moore) needs help saving her house and the spirit of the island or something like that. RTS goes full Godzilla with the aid of the Stork brothers, Egg (Bobcat Goldthwait) and Clay (Tom Villard). Jeremy collects bomb shells on the beach with Ack Ack (Curtis Armstrong). It’s a sweet conversation piece when chatting up the beach babes. They’re looking at you, Cookie (Kimberly Foster). La-Mar demonstrates his crossbow abilities. Lobsters beware! Collin becomes the king of all of Boscoe’s puppies. Squid Calamari (Kristen Goelz) is pleased. Emily takes the rocket launcher right off the rack. A radio station better pay up! During all of this, there’s a regatta contest that we need to win. This is one crazy summer!

“I'm a genie in a bottle (in a bottle, baby). You gotta rub me the right way (yeah).” Scotty (Dean Cameron) loses it all – and quickly. He swipes a bottle of vodka and while getting blasted on the beach, he meets Gus (Pat Morita) who gives him a fresh blanket and a genie in a bottle. Turns out that Jeanie (Ami Dolenz) is a genie! In a bottle! What, what?! Scotty pursues, who he thinks is the woman of his dreams, Dana (Felicity Waterman), but with a little genie magic and some luck, he may come to his senses and find true love. RTS starts dishing out the wishes. They wish for a little of this and a little of that. They’re the wishmasters! Jeremy joins the Manchester Jazz Quartet. Sex peeping is a requirement. La-Mar teams up with a hot dog vendor and destroys all in a volleyball match. Collin searches for Ms. Bermuda Triangle! The only real winner is Ms. Fantasyland.
