Sarah Davis survived hippo attacks, being arrested and detained and running lethal rapids. She travelled through a country on the brink of civil war and in the background was dealing with the risk of kidnap.The trip included over 1,000km of rafting, followed by 3,000km of kayaking and Sarah became the first woman to lead an expedition down this mighty river. Hippo Attacks, Border Arrests and a Risky Solo Journey - Sarah Davis

Sarah Davis survived hippo attacks, being arrested and detained and running lethal rapids. She travelled through a country on the brink of civil war and in the background was dealing with the risk of kidnap.

The trip included over 1,000km of rafting, followed by 3,000km of kayaking and Sarah became the first woman to lead an expedition down this mighty river.
