- Ep.165 When Parenting Feels Hard: Finding Peace in the Process
Every mom has moments that make her question if she's getting this parenting thing right.
Whether it's difficult behavior at school, disrespect, poor choices, or simply feeling discouraged by the season you're in, parenting can leave us carrying guilt and wondering where we went wrong.
In this honest and encouraging episode, Tari shares personal parenting struggles, lessons she's learning with each of her children, and the hope found in the Parable of the Prodigal Son. Together we'll explore what it means to faithfully parent without believing our children's every choice is a reflection of our worth as mothers.
If you've been feeling defeated or exhausted on your parenting journey, this episode is a reminder that God is still writing your child's story—and yours.
In this episode you'll learn:
- Why your child's behavior isn't always a reflection of your parenting
- The difference between biblical principles and promises
- How the Prodigal Son gives parents hope
- Four practical ways to stay encouraged when parenting feels hard
Because progress—not perfection—is the goal, and God is faithful through every season of motherhood.

Homework:
This week, think of one area where you've been discouraged in your parenting.
Take 10–15 minutes to journal through these questions:
- What emotions have I been carrying about my child's behavior?
- Have I been taking their choices as a personal reflection of my worth as a mother?
- What seeds have I already been faithfully planting?
- What burden do I need to surrender to God today?
Then choose one intentional act of encouragement toward your child this week—a meaningful conversation, quality time, praying over them while they sleep, writing them a note, or simply reminding them how much they're loved.

34m - Jul 8, 2026 - Ep.162 Stewarding What God Gave You: Lessons from Matthew 25:14-30
What are you doing with what God has entrusted to you?
In this episode of the Mom Keys to Mental Peace Podcast, we continue our 2026 Stewardship Series by exploring one of Jesus' most powerful teachings on stewardship: The Parable of the Three Servants in Matthew 25:14-30.
Many of us spend time wishing we had more money, more opportunities, more influence, or more resources. But this parable reminds us that God is less concerned with how much we have and more concerned with how faithfully we use what we've already been given.
Together we'll discuss:
• Why God entrusts different responsibilities according to our abilities
• The spiritual significance of the five, two, and one bags of silver
• How fear, comparison, insecurity, and excuses keep us from using our gifts
• Why God expects multiplication and growth from His people
• The difference between investing your resources and burying them
• How to faithfully steward your time, talents, relationships, finances, and opportunities
If you've ever felt like what you have isn't enough to make a difference, this episode will encourage you to stop focusing on what you lack and start investing what God has already placed in your hands.
Because faithful stewardship isn't about having more—it's about faithfully using what you've been given.

37m - Jun 5, 2026 - Ep.161 Stewardship of the Body: What Your Habits Reveal
In this episode of the Mom Keys to Mental Peace Podcast, we continue our 2026 Stewardship series by talking about an area many women struggle with but rarely connect to spirituality—how we steward our bodies.
Scripture reminds us that our bodies are not our own. They were created by God, purchased at a price, and entrusted to our care. But in a culture driven by comfort, overconsumption, burnout, and instant gratification, it’s easy to neglect the very body God gave us.
In this honest and practical conversation, Tari explores five major areas that reveal how we steward our bodies:
- Food and nutrition
- Exercise and movement
- Drugs and alcohol
- Sexual stewardship
- Rest and burnout
This episode is not about shame or perfection—it’s about awareness, intentionality, and honoring God through our daily choices.
If you’ve been struggling with unhealthy habits, emotional eating, exhaustion, lack of discipline, or simply feeling disconnected from your body and health, this episode will encourage you to take small, grace-filled steps toward stewardship and healing.

In this episode of the Mom Keys to Mental Peace Podcast, we continue our 2026 Stewardship series by diving into one of the most important areas we are called to manage—our minds.
If you’ve ever struggled with anxious thoughts, overthinking, negative self-talk, or seasons of heaviness and depression, this episode is for you.
Tari shares her personal journey with anxiety and depression, including how her thought patterns developed over time and the practical, faith-based steps she took to experience true transformation and peace.
In this episode, you’ll learn:
- Why stewardship of the mind matters to God
- How your thoughts impact your emotions, actions, and overall well-being
- The role of awareness in breaking negative thought cycles
- Practical ways to take control of your thought life
- How to use Scripture and intentional meditation to renew your mind
- The importance of what you consume through media and conversations
- How the Holy Spirit helps transform your thinking
This conversation is both honest and practical, offering encouragement for any mom who feels mentally overwhelmed and desires a renewed, peaceful mind.
You don’t have to stay stuck in negative thought patterns.
Freedom starts with stewardship.
Homework:
This week, I want you to practice thought awareness and replacement:
- Write down 3 negative thoughts that have been on repeat in your mind.
- For each thought, identify the root: Is this coming from fear, past experiences, or current stress?
- Find one scripture or truth that directly counters each negative thought.
- Every time that thought comes up, intentionally replace it with truth.
- Take inventory of what you’re consuming this week (music, social media, conversations) and remove or limit anything that feeds negativity.

51m - Mar 24, 2026 - Ep.158 Mess, Stress & Stewardship: Creating a Peaceful Home
What if the key to more peace in your mind isn’t getting more… but stewarding what you already have?
In this episode of the Mom Keys to Mental Peace Podcast, we continue the 2026 theme of Stewardship by talking about how to steward your home and possessions in a way that honors God and protects your mental health.
Psalm 24:1 reminds us that everything belongs to the Lord — which means we are managers, not owners. From the detailed instructions God gave Moses for building the Tabernacle, to Jesus’ warning about storing treasures on earth, Scripture makes it clear: how we handle what we have matters.
Inside this episode, we talk about:
- Why stewardship is a spiritual responsibility
- How clutter impacts stress, focus, and mental clarity
- The connection between overconsumption and overwhelm
- The Parable of the Rich Fool and what it teaches us
- Practical ways to steward your home well
- How to embrace a minimalist, Kingdom-centered mindset
- Why delegation and gratitude shift everything

52m - Mar 5, 2026 - Ep.157 Children Are a Gift: Stewarding Motherhood God’s Way
In this episode of our 2026 Stewardship Series, we’re talking about one of the greatest gifts — and responsibilities — God entrusts to us: our children.
Scripture reminds us that children are a gift from the Lord, a heritage, an inheritance placed into our care. We are not their owners — we are their stewards. And stewardship means careful, responsible, intentional management of what belongs to God.
In a culture where the value of children has shifted and motherhood can feel overwhelming, inconvenient, or even burdensome, we return to biblical truth: children are not liabilities — they are legacy.
In this episode, we discuss:
- What stewardship really means in motherhood
- Why children are a blessing and inheritance from God
- The cultural narratives surrounding children today
6 practical ways to faithfully steward your children — from modeling God’s principles and teaching life skills, to allowing failure, nurturing their gifts, covering them in prayer, and caring for yourself as their mother.
This conversation is not about perfection. It’s about faithfulness. It’s about asking:
How am I handling what God has already placed in my hands?
If you desire to raise your children with intention, wisdom, and generational impact, this episode is for you.

59m - Feb 17, 2026 - Ep.156 How to Faithfully Steward Your Time
In this episode, we continue our series centered on our 2026 word of the year: Stewardship. We explore what it truly means to steward what God has entrusted to us—and why stewardship matters deeply to God.
Focusing specifically on time, we reflect on its eternal value, the biblical responsibility we have to manage it well, and what Scripture says about faithfulness in the “small things.” Through honest reflection, biblical truth, and practical guidance, we confront distractions disguised as rest, unclear priorities, and mental overload that keep us from stewarding our time with intention.
This episode invites you to ask a sobering but necessary question:
When you stand before the judgment seat, what will God say you did with your time—and how will you account for it?
If you’re ready to stop drifting through your days and start living with purpose, peace, and obedience, this episode is for you.

51m - Jan 31, 2026 - Ep.155 How to Faithfully Steward Your Relationship with God
In this episode, we’re talking about the most important area of stewardship in our lives as Christian moms — our relationship with God. Before we can steward our families, our time, our health, or our finances, we have to learn how to faithfully steward the one relationship that anchors everything else.
We’ll walk through three reasons many moms struggle to steward their relationship with God well — seeing it as optional instead of foundational, carrying guilt and pressure around “quiet time,” and trying to do it all in our own strength. Then we’ll explore three practical ways to nurture your walk with God through presence over performance, simple sustainable rhythms, and learning to ask the Holy Spirit for help.
This episode is for the mom who loves God but feels busy, distracted, inconsistent, or spiritually tired. You’ll be reminded that stewardship isn’t about perfection — it’s about willingness, dependence, and faithfulness in the season you’re in.
Let’s learn to steward what matters most — our relationship with God.

Prayer of Salvation
If you’re ready to invite Jesus into your heart and begin a new life in Him, please pray this prayer with me:
"Dear God, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I admit that I am a sinner and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, and that He died for my sins and rose from the dead. I turn from my sins and invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for loving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen."
52m - Jan 17, 2026 - Most Listened to Episode of 2025: Why I Stopped Smoking Weed
As we close out the year, I wanted to reshare the most listened-to episode of the season—an episode I originally recorded in 2023 titled Why I Stopped Smoking Weed. This conversation dives into how our habits impact both our mental and physical health and how the enemy can subtly deceive us into normalizing unhealthy patterns that slowly pull us away from God’s best. I share my personal testimony with smoking weed, what led me to stop, and how God met me right where I was, reminding us what it truly means to “come as you are” to Him. We also explore what the Bible has to say about sobriety and self-control, and I offer encouragement and motivation for anyone who is on a journey toward freedom and staying sober. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for listening, supporting, and growing with me this year. I am so grateful for each of you and I’m looking forward to the new year and all the new episodes, conversations, and growth we’ll share together.

35m - Dec 31, 2025 - Ep.154 Life Lessons from 2025: Small Beginnings, Obedience, and the Pace of Grace
As 2025 comes to a close, I’m reflecting on five life lessons God taught me this year — lessons about health, obedience, rest, and the power of small, intentional moments.
In this episode, I open up about my ongoing health and fitness struggles, emotional eating, and how God has been confronting deeper heart issues rather than surface habits. We talk about why what worked in one season may not work in the next, and how God often calls us to a slower, more intentional way of living.
I also share why “something is better than nothing,” how an all-or-nothing mindset keeps us stuck, and why small beginnings matter deeply to God (Zechariah 4:10). From micro-money habits to family Bible studies, this episode is a reminder that consistency over time produces fruit — even when progress feels slow.
Finally, we talk about obedience, waiting on God’s timing, and why we don’t always need a “new word” from God — sometimes we just need to finish what He already told us to do.
If you’ve felt discouraged, tempted to rush your process, or frustrated by slow growth, this episode will encourage you to live at the pace of grace and trust God with the timeline.

44m - Dec 23, 2025 - Ep.153 Faith Over Forgetfulness: Building a Life That Remembers God Well
In this episode, we’re talking about something most of us struggle with but rarely admit: forgetting the goodness of God. As we approach the end of the year and step into a season of reflection and gratitude, the Holy Spirit reminded me how easily we can slip into worry, fear, and doubt simply because we forget what God has already done.
We walk through the stories of Jesus feeding the 5,000 and the 4,000, and how—even after witnessing multiple miracles—the disciples still asked, “Where will we get enough?” Their response mirrors ours more than we like to admit. One challenge arises, and suddenly we panic, overlook God’s track record, and start problem-solving in our own strength.
In today’s episode, I share how God has been correcting me in this area, especially during a recent season of uncertainty. I also give you five practical ways to build a lifestyle of remembering God’s faithfulness so that gratitude becomes daily—not seasonal—and your faith grows stronger with every memory.
If you’ve been wrestling with worry, anxiety, or doubt, this episode will gently remind you that God has never failed you…and He’s not starting now.
📝 Homework:
- Create a “God Has Been Faithful” list: Write down at least 10 moments from this year where God came through for you (big or small).
- Start a gratitude rhythm: Pick a time each day to write 3 things you’re grateful for. Keep them in your Notes app, a journal, or a sticky note jar.
- Share a testimony: Tell at least one person about something God has done for you — this strengthens your memory and their faith.

49m - Dec 7, 2025 - Ep.152 How to Tell When God is Testing You vs. When the Enemy is Tempting You
In this episode, I’m opening up about how God has been dealing with me in a very personal area — my relationship with food. What started as a simple conviction about sweets turned into a deeper lesson about temptation versus testing.
We’ll look at three powerful Bible stories — Eve in the garden, Abraham on the mountain, and Jesus in the wilderness — to learn how to recognize when God is testing us and when the enemy is tempting us. You’ll discover that while temptation tries to pull us away from obedience, testing pushes us closer to God.
This episode will help you reflect on your own struggles, identify what keeps pulling at your flesh, and learn how to respond in faith instead of frustration.
📝 Homework:
Identify your triggers.
Write down what situations, emotions, or environments lead you to give in to your temptation. (e.g., stress, boredom, comfort, celebration)
Label it honestly.
Ask yourself: “Is this a temptation to disobey, or a test to strengthen my faith?”
Set one boundary this week.
Create one simple step of obedience — like limiting sweets, scrolling, or gossip — and commit to honoring that boundary.
Pray before you act.
Each time you feel pulled toward the temptation, pause and pray: “Lord, help me choose obedience over indulgence.”

53m - Nov 9, 2025 - Ep.151 I Wanted to Give Up Podcasting
In this episode, I open up about a season of discouragement, comparison, and questioning my purpose as a podcaster. I share what it’s really been like behind the mic — from wrestling with analytics and consistency to learning how to obey God even when it doesn’t make sense. If you’ve ever wanted to quit something God called you to, this episode will remind you that your faithfulness still matters, even when you can’t see the fruit yet.

1h 2m - Oct 26, 2025 - Ep.150 Does Following Jesus Mean a Boring Life?
In this episode, I’m tackling the stereotype that Christianity is boring. For years, strict church traditions and legalism made it seem like following Jesus meant no fun, no freedom, and no joy. But that couldn’t be further from the truth! We’ll look at the history behind this stereotype, what the Bible really says about joy and abundant life, and how to shift our definition of “fun” to align with God’s best for us. By the end, you’ll see that Christianity isn’t dull—it’s alive, Spirit-filled, and full of purpose.

📝 Homework:

- Scripture Study: Meditate on John 10:10 and Galatians 5:22–23. Ask yourself: What does “abundant life” look like in my current season?

1h 1m - Oct 17, 2025 - Ep.149 Sis, He's Not Your God: 5 Signs You're Idolizing Men
In this episode, I’m sharing a message the Lord placed heavily on my heart about the quiet epidemic of women idolizing men and romance. From “boy-crazy” childhood messages in media, to personal stories from my own life, we’ll uncover the signs that you may be putting a man in God’s place and the practical steps to break free from that cycle.
We’ll talk about:
- 5 signs you might be idolizing men or romance
- 5 ways to stop centering men in your life
- What Jesus meant when He offered “Living Water” to the Samaritan woman in John 4
- How to root your worth and identity in Christ alone
This isn’t a message of judgment—it’s a message of freedom. God wants to fill the spaces you’ve been trying to satisfy with men and give you the peace, clarity, and wholeness only He can provide.
📝 Homework:
1. Journal Reflection: Write down 3 ways you may have placed men (or marriage) in God’s rightful place in your heart. Be honest, even if it’s uncomfortable.
2. Scripture Anchor: Meditate on Ephesians 2:10 (you are God’s masterpiece) and John 4:13–14 (Jesus as the Living Water). Write down what these verses mean for your identity.
3. Practical Step: Take a 7-day break from any content that triggers romantic idolization (rom-coms, love songs, celebrity couples on IG). Replace that time with prayer, worship, or something that nurtures your personal gifts.

1h 3m - Sep 22, 2025 - Ep.148 The Role of the Holy Spirit in Your Sanctification Journey: Romans 8 Bible Study
In this final installment of our Romans 6–8 Bible study series on sanctification, we’re diving into Romans 8—the powerful chapter that reminds us what it means to live life in the Spirit. Too often we stop at salvation, but God calls us to so much more. The Holy Spirit isn’t just present in our lives; He plays an active role in transforming us, guiding us, and producing God’s character in us. In this episode, I’m breaking down what it means to live by the Spirit, the hope of our future glory, and the truth that nothing can separate us from God’s love.
If you’ve ever wondered how to move beyond struggling in your own strength and walk in true freedom, this episode is for you.
