Megan Walker is a former elected member of London City Council (1994-2000) who recently retired as the Executive Director of the London Abused Women’s Centre (1997-2021). She is a feminist abolitionist who advocates for systemic changes to end male violence against women. 


Megan was Canada’s North American lead during the United Nations Beijing, European and America’s consultation meetings. She has spoken in Paris, New York, Sweden, Ukraine, United Kingdom, Guyana and South America.


Megan has appeared numerous times as an expert witness before Municipal, Provincial, Parliamentary and Senate Committees to provide expert testimony on matters relating to male violence against women and victims’ rights.
