Amy: Hi again. Welcome back to the Speak Your Mind Vlog. I’m Amy.
Max: … and I’m Max …
Amy: … and today we have a question for young professionals. Do you think of your future or live for now? It’s a question I think about a lot. You see, I have a dream to own a business one day. So, I have a plan: college, business classes, and an internship. I see exactly what I need to do and I’m planning for my future from beginning to end.
Max: Well, see, I’m not sure what I want to do. I don’t think I have a plan for the future. I just follow my interests. I like to study a lot of different things, like history, science, art. I’m not sure if this will lead me to a job, but I’m having a great time in my classes. I’m studying Japanese and classical guitar, too. It’s fun. I prefer to live for now and find out what I like.
Amy: And I know what I want and how to get there.
Max: What about you? Do you have a plan for the future or do you live for now? Speak your mind.
