-The Huskers changed their standard philosophy and opted to take the ball when winning the coin toss and scored on the opening
drive, and took a 17-0 lead into half---where they pulled away to a 34-7 win in a game that was never close
-Jamal Rule was impressive once again, putting the game away with a 55-yard TD run in the 3 rd quarter to make it 24-0….he had 15
carries for 119 yards. Defensively---5 sacks was a nice sight after a lack of pass rush the first 2 games…
-Also—Jake wants to give a shoutout to the postgame show—both the honoring of Tom Osborne into the Nebraska Hall of Fame as
well as the Cole Swindell concert…it was a very well-done operation on both parts
