Hebrews 3:1-2 says "Therefore, holy brothers, you who share in a heavenly calling, consider Jesus, the apostle and high priest of our confession, who was faithful to him who appointed him, just as Moses also was faithful in all God's house."
Webster's dictionary defines "consider" as "to gaze on steadily or reflectively"...now go back and read that verse again!
We aren't just to think about Jesus like we might be thinking about our grocery list...rather we are called to GAZE UP ON HIM STEADILY; to REFLECT Jesus! WOAH!!
I don't know about you, but that brings those verses to life in a whole new way!
