Professor Sami Timimi visits Critical Psychiatry talks

In the second episode of the series, we invite Professor Sami Timimi, consultant psychiatrist, psychotherapist, researcher and author, and of course a member of the Critical Psychiatry Network (CPN).

In this session, he outlines the themes from his recently published book Insane Medicine. He discussed the frailty of the psychiatric diagnostic system and the fact that several decades of apparent innovation have borne no fruit in terms of improved outcomes from treatment, amongst other captivating subjects.
