Professor Joanna Moncrieff visits Critical Psychiatry Talks

In the first episode of the series, we invite Professor Joanna Moncrieff, consultant psychiatrist, a part-time academic and author, and one of the founding members of the Critical Psychiatry Network (CPN).

In this session, she talks about her experience in psychiatry training, how she became more critical of many aspects of the mainstream psychiatry practice and she goes into more detail about her interest in psychiatric drugs. She also explains her drug centred model, as opposed to the disease centred model.
