• I Learned a Lot About Myself This Season | Season 2 Finale

And just like that, Season 2 of Cozy with Calinnah is over. ☕️

This season, I opened up more about my day-to-day life while having conversations about discipline, organization, creativity, burnout, rest, and figuring out life in your 30s.

One of my biggest lessons? You don't always have to be doing something to be moving forward.

I'm not completely sure what Season 3 will look like yet, but I know I want to share more of the process—whether that's music, creativity, or simply figuring out what's next in real time.

Thank you for sticking with me through Season 2. Keep dreaming big, listen to that internal voice that believes in you, and don't forget to rest along the way. 🤍

  • How to Stay Disciplined When Life Is Already Full | Meeso Chang

How do you stay disciplined when life doesn't slow down?

In this episode of Cozy with Calinnah, I sit down with Meeso Chang to talk about consistency, discipline, and the small choices that shape who we become.

As a corporate professional, entrepreneur, marathon runner, and single mom, Meeso shares how she built habits that helped her navigate career, family, fitness, and personal growth. We discuss why motivation isn't always reliable, how to stay committed on your days off, and what to do when you inevitably fall off track.

One of my favorite takeaways from this conversation is that showing up for yourself allows you to show up for the people you care about.

If you've been feeling overwhelmed, burned out, or stuck between wanting to do more and not knowing where to start, this episode is for you.

    In this episode, we discuss:

    • What discipline looks like when your life is already full
    • Why consistency matters more than motivation
    • The difference between discipline and identity
    • How to build habits that last
    • What to do when you fall off track
    • The importance of showing up for yourself
    • How small, consistent choices create long-term change

  • I Think I've Been Chasing the Wrong Things in My 30s

What if discipline isn't about doing more... but about protecting what matters most?

In this solo episode of Cozy with Calinnah, I reflect on what discipline has started to mean to me in my 30s. As a full-time nurse, independent artist, content creator, and podcast host, I've spent so much time trying to keep up that I realized I was spending less time actually developing my craft.

I've been thinking about picking up my instruments again—not because I need another hobby, but because I miss creating music without the pressure of turning everything into content.

If you've ever felt burned out, stretched too thin, or questioned whether you're chasing the right goals, this episode is for you.

This conversation also sets the stage for my upcoming episode with Meeso Chang, where we explore what discipline really looks like when life is already full.

  • Why It's So Hard to Say What You Really Feel

Have you ever spent more time thinking about a conversation than actually having it?

In this episode of Cozy with Calinnah, I sit down with poet and writer Christian Perfas to talk about the many ways we use words—and sometimes avoid using them.

We explore why some people find it easier to write than speak during conflict, how songwriting became a way for me to process relationships, and why public speaking isn't just about confidence—it's about becoming comfortable with who you are.

Whether you're a writer, creative, or someone who's ever struggled to express what you're really feeling, this conversation is a reminder that finding your voice is a lifelong practice.

    In this episode, we discuss:

    • Why writing can feel easier than difficult conversations
    • My experience writing songs about relationships
    • Conflict resolution and healthy communication
    • How public speaking builds confidence
    • Becoming comfortable with your authentic self
    • The power of words to connect, heal, and inspire

  • I Started Writing Songs About My Day Job

For years, I thought songwriting had to be about love or heartbreak. But recently, I've been challenging myself to write about the life I'm already living.

As a registered nurse, I've realized some of my best stories come from the hospital. That shift in perspective led me to write songs like "Calling in Sick" and "Short-Staffed," proving that inspiration can come from the most unexpected places.

In this solo episode, I share why I've been pushing myself to become a better observer instead of just a better songwriter—and how paying attention to everyday life has completely changed the way I write.

This episode also sets up my conversation with poet Christian Perfas, where we dive deeper into writing, expression, and the power of using your words.

  • How to Grow Without Feeling Behind | Mazá Zimmerman

What if the reason you feel behind isn't because you're failing—but because you're constantly measuring your life against someone else's timeline?

In this episode of Cozy with Calinnah, I sit down with leadership strategist and TEDx speaker Mazá Zimmerman to explore his powerful philosophy: Attend to Your Garden.

We talk about comparison, patience, leadership, growth, and the pressure many of us feel to constantly achieve more. Mazá shares why meaningful growth often happens quietly, how to stay focused on what matters, and why success isn't always visible in the moment.

If you've ever felt behind, questioned your progress, or wondered whether you're growing fast enough, this conversation is for you.

    We discuss:

    • Why comparison steals our attention
    • How to focus on what's in front of you
    • What growth actually looks like
    • Leadership and personal development
    • The role of patience and consistency
    • Seasons of life and long-term growth

In a world that rewards urgency, this episode is a reminder that growth takes time.

  • The Comparison Trap Nobody Talks About

Have you ever felt like everyone else is moving faster than you?

Lately, I've been thinking about how easy it is to spend our time watching other people's gardens grow while neglecting our own.

We compare careers, relationships, businesses, followers, milestones, and timelines. Before we know it, we're measuring our lives against people whose circumstances are completely different from ours.

In this solo episode of Cozy with Calinnah, I talk about comparison, patience, and the quiet work of tending to the life you already have. Because in a world obsessed with quick results, not enough people talk about growth that takes time.

Sometimes we give up because we think nothing is happening.

    But roots grow in silence.

Maybe the problem isn't that you're behind.

Maybe you're just looking over the fence too often.

  • When Your Job Replaces Who You Are

At some point, work stops being what you do — and starts becoming who you are.

In this episode of Cozy with Calinnah, I sit down with a circulating nurse to talk about overworking, losing touch with creativity, and the quiet realization that your identity can slowly shrink down to a job title. We explore what happens when discipline outpaces selfhood, why creative parts of us go dormant, and how easy it is to lose yourself while “keeping it together.”

This is a reflective conversation for high-functioning professionals who are burnt out but not broken — and are starting to question who they are outside of work.

  • Outgrowing Your Niche After Burnout

Burnout doesn’t always mean quitting — sometimes it means outgrowing what once worked.

In this episode of Cozy with Calinnah (CWC), Calinnah sits down with artist and former beauty creator Sarah Novio to talk about taking a full year off to heal and grieve, and why she warned her audience she wouldn’t come back the same.

They unpack creative burnout, identity shifts, disappointing expectations, and the emotional reality of evolving your work when people are attached to who you used to be. This conversation is for creatives navigating change, healing, and the courage it takes to choose growth over familiarity.

  • Accomplishments Aren’t Enough

What happens when you do everything “right” — achieve the goals, build the career, and still feel unfulfilled?

In this episode of Cozy with Calinnah, Calinnah sits down with Dr. Kat Besas to talk about the hidden cost of achievement, the immigrant pressure to succeed, and why accomplishments alone don’t always lead to purpose. They explore Filipino cultural expectations, burnout, belonging, and how service and community can help redefine what fulfillment really means.

This conversation is for anyone who feels successful on paper but empty inside — and is ready to rethink achievement, purpose, and impact.

  • From Party to Movement

This episode explores how something small can turn into something meaningful.

In this conversation, Calinnah sits down with FERG.JP, founder of White Durag, to talk about culture-building, identity, sustainability, and what it really takes to protect the soul of an idea as it grows.

What began as an invite-only house party evolved into a global movement rooted in community, self-expression, and intention. They discuss setting culture instead of chasing trends, scaling without losing intimacy, the role of rest through Thanks for Sleeping, and redefining success beyond visibility.

Cozy with Calinnah is a space for the stories behind the work — the human side of building something that actually matters.

  • Get Out of Your Way

It’s still the beginning of January — and not everything needs to be fixed right away.

In this solo episode, Calinnah reflects on self-sabotage, perfectionism, and the pressure we put on ourselves to have a perfect start to the year. Inspired by The Mountain Is You, this conversation is about learning how to step out of your own way, give yourself grace, and start from a place of awareness instead of urgency.

This is a reminder that healing yourself first can make growth feel more sustainable — and that your goals don’t disappear just because your timeline changes.

  • One Year Later

One year ago, I set a simple goal: post one video a week for an entire year.

In this episode, I reflect on what it really took to stay consistent — the late-night edits, editing on lunch breaks, getting sick, going through a breakup, and still choosing to show up.

I also want to thank every guest who trusted me with their stories and shared their life experiences so others could learn from them. Cozy with Calinnah exists because of that openness and honesty.

I’m not sure what the future holds for Cozy with Calinnah, but before moving forward, I want to hear from you.

  • A Different Kind of Christmas

Christmas looks different for me these days.

My family is still loving and close — they just live in another country — and over time, the holidays have taken on a quieter, more reflective meaning. In this solo episode of Cozy with Calinnah, I talk about distance, chosen family, shifting traditions, and learning that being alone doesn’t always mean being lonely.

This is a conversation about how family evolves, how traditions change as we grow up, and how Christmas can still feel meaningful — even when it doesn’t look the way it used to.

If the holidays feel different for you this year, I hope this episode reminds you that nothing is wrong. Sometimes it’s just a new season.

  • Food, Healing, and Nostalgia with Dandy Eats

In this episode of Cozy with Calinnah, I sit down with Kimberly, aka Dandy Eats, to talk about food, healing, nostalgia, and how her journey as a food blogger evolved alongside social media itself.

Dandy opens up about surviving childhood leukemia, chemotherapy cravings, and a small but unforgettable moment — eating Doritos while watching the Super Bowl just before finding out she was cancer-free. We talk about how food became comfort, memory, and joy during a time when eating wasn’t easy, and how that experience shaped her relationship with food.

We also dive into her evolution from early food blogging (before Stories, trending audio, and virality) to becoming a food influencer by paying attention to platforms, algorithms, and storytelling as social media changed over time. This conversation explores resilience, growth, Filipino food culture, and what it means to fully live through food.
