Granny's Rocking Chair, Abuse, & Testing God: Wendy's Story
As a little girl, Wendy Eaton grew up bouncing between two alcoholic, abusive homes after her parents divorced. Her older brothers tried to protect her—until they started falling into the same cycle. The one steady light was her Granny, who opened a book and read to her something that would change her forever. Wendy decided right then she wanted to be like that tree planted by streams of water.
The move from California to Oklahoma Wendy and her husband, Allan made in 2012 is a whole story in itself—she said no without even praying, then God started showing up everywhere until she finally started listening.
Today she’s a chain-breaker and legacy-maker who prays about everything, has a prayer room where she mostly just listens, and is intentional about making sure the next generation actually knows The Lord. Listen in as Wendy shares how God kept proving His faithfulness even while she was testing Him the whole way.
