Alcoholic mom, loss of a dream, finding refuge: Donna’s Story

From a young age, Donna had this powerful inner belief of a special calling on her life; the issue was that she wasn’t quite sure what that calling actually looked like.

Even with that uncertainty, Donna had this unwavering sense of purpose in the church even without a ‘church home’.. She knew deep down that her path was destined to be different from others. 

With an unwavering heart, she followed God to a Christian university, hoping this is where she would find her purpose in His plan. When things came crumbling down around her, Donna confided in God. In that vulnerable moment, God revealed to her that He wanted to be her everything, surpassing all else. It was through this revelation that she discovered her true calling in God’s plan. 

Today I have the privilege of sharing Donna’s incredible story with you. From her challenging upbringing, a career ending injury, on top of searching for a place to belong, God was tactfully planning her path and guiding her to where she is now. It’s a journey that will leave you inspired and amazed.
