Episode 2 – barokke former: ciaccona & passacaglia

I dagens episode snakker jeg om de to slektningene ciaccona og passacaglia. 'Alle' elsker den kule og fengende 1600-talls ciaccona-grooven hvor det rokker i dansefoten, og likeså de vakre og klagende passacagliaene med sin smertefulle lengsel. Jeg undersøker hvor de kommer fra, hva de har til felles, og vi lytter til musikkeksempler av Monteverdi, Lully, Matteis, Purcell, Bach, Buxtehude, Merula og mange flere.
