Season 2 | Episode 15

Today we’re hanging out with my good friend and former counterpart, Melissa Pabian. Melissa has a wide ranging career in hospitality and event management, selling and executing events in restaurants, hotels, and ballrooms throughout the country. During our visit, we explore how she’s used her extra time since being furloughed and ultimately laid off, as an opportunity to explore her interests, indulge her creativity, and figure out a way to make money doing what she loves. We’ll also dive into the most effective ways she’s learned to manage her daily schedule. In this episode, I hope we’ve shown that there is plenty of opportunity ahead after drastic changes to your professional life. There are skills you possess, and experiences you’ve had, that are transferable to other industries and other jobs. There are new paths that await you, but sometimes hearing someone else’s story is the nudge you need to get moving.
