Today we’re hanging out with Brian Cooper, who’s been living in Washington DC for the last 18 years, and has had a front row seat to events as they are happening in our nation’s capital. Brian and his wife Kim have been in the weeds of pandemic parenting since March of last year. They have both transitioned their jobs to full-time stay-at-home status, along with their kids who have also switched over to remote learning. As you’ll find out in this episode, Brain is passionate about all things government and politics. His experiences living in DC during the Trump presidency, the COVID pandemic, and the 2020 election cycle give us a glimpse of what daily life has been like during this rollercoaster of a year. We’ll also hear about DC’s fight to statehood and what that means for its citizens. Learn more at www.dcvote.org/about-dc-vote
