The Wisconsin Badgers on a one day shortened week played Western Illinois and won 36-9 highlighted by a great day by the run game and a blocked punt for a touchdown. The Green Bay Packers held a 22-10 lead against the Minnesota Vikings in the second half and 22-17 lead going into the 4th quarter and got outscored 22-0 in the 4th quarter. There are a lot of things to fix and change, and we'll discuss them all.

The Packers first chance to bounce back will be also on the road against the New York Jets who won their week 1 game against the Tennessee Titans. We'll preview what changes we want to see the Packers make and preview other parts of what we're looking for in the game. #GoPackGo

Shortly after we created Wisco Fanatics, we decided to make a shift, to cover the Wisconsin sports teams we love and to do it with an optimistic perspective. We are both mental health advocates and wanted to positively affect our mental health and that of our followers by changing the way we watch and analyze our favorite teams.

Another slight shift took us to adding the realistic part of the title because we didn't want the connotation of optimistic to people thinking we only see sunshine and rainbows. We retain the ability to remain level headed with our teams and want to pass that work onto our followers. This is what it means to us.

The Milwaukee Brewers won three of four games since our last show. The Brewers took two of three from the very hot Philadelphia Phillies over the weekend thanks to some dazzling pitching by Jacob Misiorowski and company. They also took the win in the series opener against the Cleveland Guardians in Cooper Pratt's big league debut. #ThisIsMyCrew

Switching to basketball, the NBA Draft is one week away, we previously discussed our favorite prospects. However, the following week, NBA Free Agency begins, so this week we're discussing transactions we'd like to see the Milwaukee Bucks make.
