Join Sara Raymond this evening on a journey to help your body heal while you sleep. This meditation will begin by assisting you to relax and prepare for sleep. Once relaxed there will be a series of affirmations that you will hear until you are asleep. You can simply listen to the affirmations, or if you would like to in your mind, feel free to repeat them. This is designed to help you drift off to sleep while the affirmations are continuing. You do not need to be awake to benefit from them. Your subconscious will hear them as your own words.
Our thoughts and the words we shape them with can influence our bodies ability to heal. Our bodies cells are in constant communication with each other and collectively they hear what we are thinking and saying. Having positive thoughts and using positive words can then create a positive healing environment for our cells to heal. Ultimately, it is always our body that does the healing, we only need to provide the right environment. The answer is always within us.

Develop self-love, compassion, and kindness for yourself during difficult times with this metta mediation practice that connects you with the energy of the elements and opens your chakras.
Loving kindness, also known as metta meditation, as a practice can be directed towards yourself, towards others, towards all beings and as an intentional way of living. In today’s meditation practice, the focus will be on offering gestures of loving kindness and compassion towards yourself during difficult times.
The loving kindness phrases are:
May I be safe (Earth element, root chakra, grounded)
May I be happy (Air element, sacral chakra, free)
May I be healthy (Fire element, solar plexus chakra, energy)
May I live with ease (Water element, heart and throat chakra, flow)
We will focus on each phrase one at a time, directing these phrases towards yourself with the option to open to others at the end of the practice.

Sometimes, you may not want to be still in meditation. Perhaps you may want to be outside, connect with nature, breathe in the fresh air, and practice meditation. Today, I will guide you to practice a walking mindfulness meditation. You can use this guide as a place to start, then practice on your own if you find value from this type of meditation.
If possible, practice this meditation outside where there is an ability to walk freely, without concern for physical hazards. If this is not an option, you can practice indoors, even if you have to continuously circle around the perimeter of a small room, or pace back and forth. Ideally, adjust the volume so you can hear me, and also still hear the sounds of the space around you.
