Of Wizards and Warriors: A Tale of Enyaw (Tales of Enyaw)-Stout had everything he could want: parents, a good home, and a safe life. Then one day everything changed. The armies of an evil wizard named Calculo destroyed Stout’s home and killed his parents. Stout joins the forgotten order of the Knights of Light, and trains to take on the quest of destroying Calculo.

During his quest he encounters many dangers: goblins, ogres, and even grafted men. Calculo’s transhumanist surgeries produce ever more diabolical chimeras, that Stout finds he must fight to complete the quest. But more ominous, and the true power behind Calculo, are the Dark Eternals creatures who can take the form of man or dragon.

The ultimate struggle between darkness and light is about to reach its climax, and Stout is in the middle of it all. What can one young man do in the face of such evil?

    But Stout is not alone.

    He has the Light.#interview #samuelBornman #/samuelbornman.com #markantonyraines #ghostmanradiostation

  • The Outer Limits 1963 S 1 E10 Nightmare

In response to an unprovoked nuclear attack from the planet Ebon, a group of soldiers–representing Unified Earth–is sent to fight the enemy on their alien world. Captured en route to Ebon, the soldiers undergo physical and psychological torture and interrogation at the hands of the Ebonites, who possess the ability to control physical abilities and senses. The prisoners become suspicious of each other when their captors claim they have received cooperation in obtaining military secrets, which is further complicated by each one's past and ethnic origins, along with the unexpected appearance of high-ranking Earth officers among the hostile aliens. The Earthmen are subjected to various interactive images of relatives and friends which have been implanted in their minds during questioning, allowing them to feel a false sense of security, or surfacing deeply hidden emotional conflicts. In the end, it is revealed that all of this is a military "game", organized by the Earth officers to test their troops' loyalty and valor under intense interrogation and psychological stress. The Earth-Ebon war itself is a fake, as the Ebonites' initial bombardment was unintentional and for which they had apologized. Unexpected accidents and deaths having occurred during the test, the Ebonites –who are, in actuality, a peaceful and honorable alien civilization– ultimately demand that such an immoral and inhuman experiment should end at once. Nevertheless they fail to prevent one last man from being killed, one of the conspiring Earth officers thought to be an illusion created by the Ebonites to trick the captives into revealing more information.

  • Red Dwarf Nanarchy

Lister (Craig Charles) is finding it very difficult to get used to life with only one arm, but seems to enjoy Kryten (Robert Llewellyn) nursing him, and Kryten is absolutely loving it. Kochanski (Chloë Annett) is fed up with seeing Kryten doing things for him that he could easily do with one arm. Tests with a prototype prosthetic arm are unsuccessful, with its two settings resulting either in Lister having to exert great effort to move it or in Lister repeatedly punching Kryten in the head due to subconscious anger. Kryten comes up with a solution – nanobots from Kryten's self-repair system could conceivably rebuild an arm for Lister. The problem is, Kryten hasn't seen his nanobots since the attack on the crew by the Despair Squid hundreds of years earlier, right before they lost Red Dwarf. They therefore decide to retrace their steps all the way back to the ocean planet where they met the Despair Squid and have to go into Deep Sleep for the very long journey.

When they emerge from Deep Sleep near their destination they are surprised to discover a planetoid which the Navicomp identifies as Red Dwarf. Down on the desert surface they find items from Red Dwarf including the original Holly (Norman Lovett) who explains that the nanobots restored his core program and then mutinied: they deconstructed Red Dwarf, creating their own miniature version of the ship and turned the rest into a planetoid for safekeeping, converting the ship's many computerized systems into sand. The crew now realize that it was the nano version of Red Dwarf that they were chasing all along – the nanobots ended up evading them by coming aboard Starbug and travelling around their own galaxy inside Lister's clothes hamper and that all along Red Dwarf had been with them.

Kryten captures the nanobots in a glass jar and tortures them by tapping the side with a pencil. He tells them to make a new arm for Lister and to turn the planetoid back into Red Dwarf. The nanobots follow Kryten's orders. As a result, Lister is given the body of a muscular bodybuilder, which the others assume to be from the nanobots feeling guilty for all the trouble they have caused. But then Starbug flies into the reconstructed Red Dwarf, which is also shown to be awfully bigger than normal. In the last shot Starbug flies in like a buzzing fly against a massively enlarged ship in the hangar.

  • Hellriaser 1987 Movie Script

In Morocco, Frank Cotton, a hedonist, buys a puzzle box said to open the door to a realm of otherworldly pleasure. At home in his bare attic, Frank solves the puzzle and hooked chains emerge, tearing him apart. A black-robed figure resets the puzzle and the room is restored back to normal.

Later, Frank's brother Larry moves into the same house. He intends to rebuild his relationship with his second wife, Julia. Larry is unaware that Julia had an affair with his brother Frank before her marriage to him. When Larry accidentally cuts his hand moving furniture, his blood drips on the attic floor and resurrects Frank in a ghoulish form. Julia later finds Frank; still obsessed with him, she agrees to help restore his body, so they can run away together. Julia picks up men in bars and brings them back to the attic, where she mortally wounds them. Frank then drains their life, which regenerates his body. Frank explains to Julia that, having exhausted all sensory experiences, he sought out the puzzle box, which was supposed to provide access to a realm of new carnal pleasures. When the puzzle was solved, the "Cenobites" came to subject him to extreme sadomasochism.

Kirsty, Larry's teenage daughter and Frank's niece, sees Julia bringing a man to the house and follows her to the attic, where she finds Frank. She evades Frank and escapes with the puzzle box, collapsing shortly after. Awakening in a hospital, Kirsty solves the box out of curiosity, and unknowingly summons the Cenobites and a monster called the Engineer, which she narrowly escapes from. The Cenobites' leader (referred to by fans as "Pinhead") explains that although they have been perceived as both angels and demons, they are simply "explorers" from another dimension seeking carnal experiences, and they can no longer differentiate between pain and pleasure. When they attempt to force Kirsty to return to their realm with them, she informs Pinhead that Frank has escaped them. The Cenobites agree to spare Kirsty and re-capture Frank instead, with the condition that Frank must confess to escaping them.

Kirsty returns home, where Frank has killed Larry and has taken on his identity by wearing his skin. Julia shows her what is purported to be Frank's flayed corpse in the attic. Kirsty then leaves the attic, locking the door behind her. The Cenobites appear and, not fooled by the deception, demand the man who "did this". Kirsty tries to escape, but is held by Julia and Frank. Frank reveals his true identity to Kirsty and, when his sexual advances are rejected, he decides to kill her to complete his rejuvenation. He accidentally stabs Julia instead and drains her without remorse. Frank chases Kirsty to the attic and, when he is about to kill her, the Cenobites appear after hearing him confess to killing her father. Now certain he is the one they are looking for, they ensnare him with chains with hooks and tear him to pieces. When the Cenobites double-cross Kirsty and attempt to take her, she grabs the puzzle box from Julia's dead hands and banishes them by reversing the motions needed to open the puzzle box. Kirsty's boyfriend Steve arrives and they both escape the collapsing house.

Afterward, Kirsty throws the puzzle box onto a burning pyre. A vagrant who has been stalking Kirsty walks into the fire and retrieves the box before transforming into a winged skeleton-like creature and flying away. The box ends up with the same merchant who sold it to Frank, where he offers it to another customer.

  • Escape The Birds Oct 07 1954 Radio Script

The story made famous by a later Hitchcock movie. Man at war against the birds. Escape brings you Daphne Du Maurier’s story The Birds adapted for radio by Robert Wright. Set in a farmhouse on the southern coast of England, the autumn countryside around is desolate and bleak. Nat notices that the birds on the coast are unusually restless and that the land and sea birds are mingling together in an unnatural partnership. That night he is woken by a tapping on the bedroom window and discovers a bird trying to get in. When he goes to shoo it away there are half a dozen of them and they seem to be attacking him pecking at his face and eyes with their sharp beaks. This is a gripping tale which was previously portrayed by Lux Radio Theater on 20th July 1953 though this version is closer to Du Maurier’s 1952 novel.

  • The Outer Limits 1963 S1 e 9 Corpus Earthling

intelligent, parasitic extraterrestrials that resemble Terran rocks, intent on enslaving the human race, find a hideout in geologist Dr. Jonas Temple's lab. Although undetected by ordinary humans, physician Dr. Paul Cameron, who has a surgically implanted metal plate in his skull, is able to "hear" the alien "rocks" communicate with each other. Aware that he can hear them (while referring to Paul as "the listener"), they realize he is a threat, and compel him to kill himself by jumping from the lab window. At the last moment he is saved when his wife, Laurie, Dr. Temple's assistant, returns to the lab, breaking the aliens' mind control.

Thinking he is going insane, Paul takes an impulsive vacation to Mexico with Laurie to help clear his troubled mind. Dr. Temple, now controlled by one of the "rocks" after it enters his body, pursues them.

In Mexico, Laurie becomes possessed after Dr. Temple finds her alone in the remote desert cabin that she and Paul had rented, and is commanded by the aliens to possess her husband upon his return. Fighting for his life, Paul is forced to stab Temple, and shoot Laurie (though it is not clear that she dies), forcing the aliens to evacuate the bodies they inhabited, thus showing their true form –hideous, shiny-black, crab-like beings with two glowing eyes. He then starts a fire inside the cabin, where the aliens are presumably destroyed, while carrying Laurie's seemingly lifeless body away from the blaze.

  • The Omen 1976 movie script

American diplomat Robert Thorn and his wife Kathy are living in Rome, where Kathy gives birth to a boy who Robert is told died immediately. Hospital chaplain Father Spiletto persuades Robert to secretly adopt another baby whose mother just died in childbirth. Robert does not tell Kathy the child is not their own. They name him Damien.

Five years later, Robert is Ambassador to the United Kingdom in London when mysterious events begin to plague the Thorns: a menacing Rottweiler appears at their home, Damien's nanny publicly hangs herself during his fifth birthday party, new nanny Mrs. Baylock arrives unannounced, Damien violently resists entering a church, and Damien's presence terrifies animals at a safari park. Father Brennan warns Robert about Damien's origins, hinting that he is not human and insisting Robert take Communion. He tells Robert that Damien is the son of Satan, that Kathy is pregnant, and that Damien will kill his unborn sibling and parents. Later, Father Brennan is killed by a falling lightning rod. Kathy tells Robert she wants an abortion, which he opposes. Damien knocks Kathy over a railing to the floor below, injuring and causing her to miscarry.

Photographer Keith Jennings notices shadows in photographs of the nanny and Father Brennan that presaged their deaths. Keith shows Robert the photos along with news clippings and Biblical passages that suggest the coming of the Antichrist. He accompanies Robert to Rome to investigate Damien's birth. They learn that a fire destroyed the hospital, including Kathy's maternity records, and killed the staff on duty. They find Father Spiletto in a monastery severely burned, mute, blind in one eye, and partially paralyzed. He directs them to the cemetery where Damien's biological mother is buried. In Damien's mother's grave, Robert and Keith find a jackal carcass and, in the next plot, a child's skeleton with a shattered skull. Robert realizes that the child was his own son, murdered so that Damien could take his place. A pack of Rottweilers drives Robert and Keith from the cemetery.

Robert calls Kathy in hospital to tell her she must leave London. Before she can do so, Mrs. Baylock throws her to her death from a window. Robert and Keith meet Antichrist expert Carl Bugenhagen in Israel who says if Damien is the true Antichrist, he will bear a birthmark in the shape of three sixes. Carl gives Robert seven daggers with which to kill Damien on hallowed ground. Robert refuses to do so, but Keith remains convinced about the necessity of it. Afterwards, Keith is decapitated by a sheet of glass. Robert then reluctantly accepts his task.

Robert finds the birthmark on the sleeping Damien's scalp and is attacked by Mrs. Baylock, whom he stabs to death. Armed with the daggers, Robert drives Damien to a cathedral. His erratic driving draws the attention of the police. Robert drags a screaming Damien onto the altar to kill him, but is shot to death by police before he can do so.

The double funeral of Kathy and Robert is attended by the U.S. President and the First Lady, who have Damien with them. Damien turns and smiles at the camera.

  • Squid Game S1 e 1 Red light ,Green Light

The series starts with a flashback of Seong Gi-hun's childhood, when he would play a game called "Squid Game". He fondly remembers playing games like this as a child alongside his friend Cho Sang-woo. It was a time of happiness and innocence, with no worries.

In the present, Gi-hun is an impoverished divorcee who is working as a chauffeur. He's knee deep in debt due to a combination of losing his once stable career at a car manufacturing plant, a failed business venture, and a gambling addiction. He lives with his elderly mother, who gives him some money to get his daughter, Seong Ga-yeong, dinner and a present for her birthday. After she leaves to go to her own job, he looks for her credit card, which she has hidden. He then steals her funds and gambles multiple times on horse races with a friend. After winning ₩4,500,000 won, he elatedly calls his daughter asking what she wants for her birthday. Unfortunately, he is spotted and chased by a group of Loan Sharks and is robbed of his newfound money by a pickpocket. The loan sharks threaten to take his organs if they are not paid by the next month and make him sign a contract with his own blood. Gi-hun then takes his daughter out for food with what little money he has left. He treats Ga-yeong to a basic birthday dinner of street food and a useless gift from a claw machine (a toy gun). Gi-hun feels disappointed that he can't give her as much as her stepfather, despite her reassurance that she prefers the street food over the fancy steak dinner her stepfather treated her to.

    Salesman Card

The salesman giving Gi-hun the card.

At the train station, Gi-hun is approached by a salesman to play a game of ddakji. Each round, whoever loses would give the other ₩100,000. However, since Gi-hun doesn't have that money, the salesman instead slaps him when he loses. Determined to win, Gi-hun tries and is slapped many times until he finally wins. The salesman gives him the money along with a strange business card with a phone number on it and tells him to call it if he wants to play other games for bigger prizes.

Gi-hun returns home ecstatic with the money and shows it to his mother. She asks how he got the money, and Gi-hun is vague with his answer. His mother warns him that unless he shows that he is financially able to support his daughter, her stepfather will move her to the United States and she worries that Ga-yeong might lose her connection to her Korean roots if she moves. Desperate to keep his daughter, he calls the number on the business card. He is told to go to a secret address and to give a password to a person in the car. He enters the car and is knocked out by sleeping gas.

Gi-hun is driven to the games arena and wakes up in a room with 455 other people. Gi-hun then meets Oh Il-nam (Player 001), an old man, who tells Gi-hun that he has dementia and a growing brain tumor. Gi-hun recognizes Kang Sae-byeok (Player 067) as the pickpocket who stole his money. She is being attacked by Jang Deok-su (Player 101) a vicious gangster, until Gi-hun steps in to stop the fight.

    LobbyGuard

A guard explaining the games to 456 confused players.

The guards enter the room and welcome the players, explaining that they will play six games over six days, and that whoever wins all six games will win a lot of money. Some players express disbelief of the games, to which the guard says that they know the players are in large debts and that they need the money the games offer them to have a better life. They lead all the players through multiple staircases to the room for the first game, Red Light, Green Light. The game starts off in a room resembling a field with trees with a large doll and a finish line. At the starting line, a voice announces the rules of the game: they can move when the doll sings "무궁화 꽃이 피었습니다 (the hibiscus flower is blooming)", but must stop when it finishes singing. Moving when it's not singing or not making it to the end in five minutes will result in being eliminated.

    FieldPlayers

In the game, players must stand still when the doll says "red light", even when the deaths of the players around them unnerve them.

Once the game begins, players 324 and 250 run quickly, determined to win first. Player 324 accidentally moves when the doll is quiet, causing him to be eliminated as a bang is heard when he falls to the floor. Player 250 checks on him and sees 324 dying and coughing up blood, making 250 run away and get shot as well. When his blood lands on Player 306's face, she screams in horror and is then killed for moving. This leads to a bunch of players trying to run away in panic as they see what "elimination" truly means, with only some surviving due to them staying in place. Eventually, everyone is either still or dead, with the voice once again reminding of the rules of the game.

The game resumes, but every player is too afraid to move forward, with the exception of Il-nam, Player 001, who is enjoying himself despite the carnage. Eventually, other players start to follow his lead, with those who are careless getting eliminated. Meanwhile, Gi-hun is still lying on the ground frozen in fear, with a dead body lying on top of him. Player 218, Cho Sang-woo, Gi-hun's childhood best friend, catches up to him and warns him of the timer and that he cannot stay on the ground for much longer. He also advises Gi-hun to hide behind other players, as the doll is a motion sensor and won't detect him if he is behind someone else. After Sang-woo's advice, Gi-hun finally gets up and resumes the game.

Sae-byeok creeps up behind Deok-su and threatens to kill him in revenge by pushing him to make the doll catch him. He begs for mercy as she taunts him, but she pulls him to the ground while the doll is looking the other way and overtakes him.

Gi-hun takes Sang-woo's advice to hide behind another player, but his quarry is shot. An injured player, Oh Yeong-uk (Player 118), then grabs his leg and begs him for help, preventing him from making any progress on the next two "green lights". Running out of time, Gi-hun pulls himself free and Yeong-uk is shot, this time fatally.

Throughout the game, a man with a black mask is watching the game unfold on TV screens in a room. In fact, he was the one who ordered when the timer started. Now, he listens to the song "Fly Me to the Moon" while drinking fine liquor as he observes the remaining players try to win the game.

Eventually, some players reach the finish line, including Sae-byeok, Deok-su, Sang-woo and Il-nam. Gi-hun almost makes it to the finish line when he trips over the corpse of another player and is nearly seen by the doll, but he is saved when Player 199, Ali Abdul, catches him before he falls and lands on the ground. The two make it to the end just as the timer ends, and the rest of the players who did not finish the game within the time limit (including Player 309) are eliminated. The roof of the game room closes as it is revealed that they are on a secluded island
