Joining the show this week is Shawn. Shawn is a trans-man who attempted to end his own life three times. He attended a conservative Christian university and was struggling to embrace the person he knew he was born to be. Ultimately Shawn shed the restrictive rules of his christian upbringing and embraced who he really is. He’s learned that he deserves to be happy, healthy, and free to be who he’s always wanted to be.
