He attended a conservative Christian university and was struggling to embrace the person he knew he was born to be. Ultimately Shawn shed the restrictive rules of his christian upbringing and embraced who he really is. He’s learned that he deserves to be happy, healthy, and free to be who he’s always wanted to be.   • You Have Two Lives

    Did you know you're going to die? I'm sure you did, but do you really know that? Have you contemplated your own mortality? If you died today, would your family know what you want? Is this depressing? It doesn't have to be! In his poem, "My Soul Has a Hat" Mario De Andrade said, "... we have two lives and the second begins when you realize that you only have one" which life are you living?
