We Like Art is A Comedy show about Art.
Comedians Tommy Mavra and Manny Muskets take a hilarious, not-so-serious look at history’s greatest artists and their work. Every week they dive blindly into a slide deck curated by their resident art historian (and fellow comedian) Seth Ruddick. With zero background information, Tommy, Manny, and, sometimes, a guest comedian must dissect the artwork, guess the context, and hilariously try to figure out what on earth is going on. As the slides progress, real factual information is slowly revealed—but don't expect a dry lecture. On this show, historical facts, made-up backstories, bizarre non sequiturs, and pure absurdity are all treated with the exact same level of reverence.
