• Episode 48 - Healing, Energy & Changing Your Story

What if the stories you’ve carried since childhood are still shaping the life you’re living today?

In this episode, I’m joined by spiritual entrepreneur Niki Kinsella for a powerful conversation about childhood trauma, relationships, grief, healing and the experiences that eventually led her to completely change her life.

Niki shares openly about growing up with difficult family dynamics, bullying and people-pleasing, and how those early experiences followed her into adulthood and her relationships.

We talk about recognising patterns of narcissistic abuse, finding the strength to leave an unhealthy relationship, and the guilt and grief Niki experienced during some of the hardest periods of her life - including losing her mum to terminal cancer.

But this conversation is also about what happened next.

Niki discovered energy work, Reiki, feminine energy and the power of understanding our own cycles. During lockdown, she began turning that work into a business and now helps other women reconnect with themselves, challenge the stories they’ve been carrying and create change in their own lives.

One of the biggest messages from this conversation?

The story you’ve lived so far doesn’t have to be the story you keep living.

  • Episode 47 - Refusing to Give Up

What happens when you’ve done everything you were told to do… but something still doesn’t add up?

In this episode, I’m joined by Anja Linder, who shares her deeply personal fertility journey - one that took her across multiple countries, through IVF, pregnancy loss, medical challenges and eventually into exploring the role of immunology in fertility.

Anja talks openly about the emotional rollercoaster of fertility treatment, the importance of asking questions and advocating for yourself, and why a one-size-fits-all approach isn’t always enough when the picture is more complex.

We talk about the difference that personalised treatment and exploring alternative medical avenues made to Anja’s journey, alongside something equally important: the emotional support needed when you’re living through uncertainty, disappointment and loss.

Anja’s story is ultimately one of hope, persistence and learning to trust yourself enough to keep asking questions when you know something isn’t right.

In this episode, we discuss Anja’s fertility journey across different countries, her experiences with IVF and pregnancy loss, the role immunology came to play in her treatment, advocating for yourself within the medical system, the importance of personalised treatment plans, and the emotional impact of fertility struggles and the support women need while navigating them.

If you’re currently on your own fertility journey, supporting somebody who is, or simply want to understand more about the reality behind fertility treatment, this is a powerful conversation about continuing to search for answers - and hope - when the journey looks nothing like you expected.

  • Episode 46 - Parenting With Confidence - Not Perfection

In this episode, Rebecca shares how she went from NHS health visitor to nursery owner and, now, private health visitor supporting families in a more personal way.

After 10 years of running a nursery, navigating COVID and seeing first-hand the pressures parents and early years professionals face, Rebecca has built her work around one simple belief: support starts with the family, not just the child.

We talk about why there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to parenting, the impact of information overload, trusting your instincts, building resilience and creating the right support around both parents and children. Rebecca also shares what running a nursery taught her about leadership, investing in your team and adapting when life - and business - throws the unexpected at you.

In this episode, Helen Colquhoun is joined by Ria Jackson, founder of Inclusive Minds UK, who shares her journey from military service into the world of neuroinclusion and accessibility.

What stands out straight away is this - inclusion doesn’t start when people walk into a room. It starts long before that.

We talk about what neurodiversity actually looks like in real life, not just as a label, but in how people experience events, environments, and everyday situations - especially when those challenges aren’t visible.

Ria shares openly about her own experiences with mental health, ADHD, and diagnosis - and how understanding yourself can completely change how you move through the world.

This isn’t just a conversation about awareness.

    It’s about:

    • What inclusion really means in practice

    • How small changes can make a big difference

    • And why understanding people properly matters more than ticking boxes

  • Episode 36 - Menopause Is Not the End of Your Career

In this powerful episode, Helen Colquhoun sits down with menopause coach Nikki Saunders Fearns to unpack a conversation that isn’t happening enough - what really happens to high-performing women in midlife.

Nikki shares her journey from 30 years in corporate leadership to experiencing a sudden loss of confidence, clarity, and control during menopause - despite being at the top of her game.

They dive into how symptoms like brain fog, anxiety, and overwhelm don’t just affect how women feel… they affect how they show up at work, lead teams, and make decisions - often leading women to question their ability or walk away from careers they’ve spent years building.

This episode challenges the narrative that women are “losing their edge” and instead highlights the physiological changes happening and more importantly, what can be done to navigate them without stepping back.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re not quite yourself anymore… especially in your work or leadership - this conversation will make you feel seen, understood, and supported.

From a career in journalism and PR to empowering women through authentic communication, Claire shares how personal tragedy forced her to confront who she was, what mattered, and how she wanted to show up in the world.

They explore the power of storytelling, the importance of finding your voice, and why so many women lose themselves trying to meet expectations that were never truly theirs.

This episode goes beyond business and into the reality of grief, resilience, and starting again -not as who you were, but as who you’re becoming.

  • Episode 34 - Fixing the Root, Not the Symptom

In this eye-opening conversation, Helen Colquhoun sits down with Caroline Bauch to explore why so many people are living with chronic pain… and why most solutions only scratch the surface.

With a background in science and her own personal experience of long-term injury, Caroline shares how she moved into holistic health and discovered VitaMetric - a powerful approach that looks at the body as a whole, rather than treating symptoms in isolation.

They unpack the connection between posture, stress, and chronic pain, and why what’s showing up physically is often the result of deeper, underlying imbalances.

This episode challenges the idea that pain is something you just have to “manage” and instead opens up a different way of thinking about healing, recovery, and long-term wellbeing.

If you’ve been living with discomfort, tension, or recurring pain and feel like nothing has truly fixed it… this conversation will make you think differently.

  • Episode 33 - The Real Work Behind Success

In this powerful conversation, Helen Colquhoun sits down with positive psychology coach Nicola Smithson to explore what really sits beneath women’s ambition, burnout, and growth.

Nicola shares her journey from a small village upbringing through recruitment and network marketing, into building a coaching business rooted in mindset, self-worth, and resilience. But this isn’t just about business success, it’s about what women are carrying behind the scenes.

They dive into the mental load so many women experience, the pressure of balancing motherhood and entrepreneurship, and why so many high-achieving women still question themselves despite doing “all the right things.”

This episode shines a light on the patterns that keep women stuck - overthinking, self-doubt, doing it all alone - and why community, support, and honest conversations are essential for real growth.

  • Episode 32 - From Burnout to Purpose

Jasmine Quianna’s journey didn’t start in the world of self-love and healing.

    It started in science.

As a clinical research scientist, she built a career that looked successful on paper - stable, respected, and secure. But behind the scenes, something wasn’t right.

    Burnout crept in.

    Disconnection followed.

And her body began to send signals she could no longer ignore.

In this episode, Jasmine shares how societal conditioning, family expectations, and the pressure to follow a “safe” path kept her stuck in a life that no longer felt aligned.

Until she reached a point where she had to make a choice:

continue down the path that looked right…

or start listening to what actually felt right.

What followed was a complete shift.

Jasmine began exploring self-love, not as a buzzword, but as a foundation for everything - her decisions, her healing, and her future.

    She opens up about:

    • how burnout was the wake-up call she didn’t want, but needed
    • the role of the body in signalling misalignment
    • how deeply ingrained beliefs shape the life we create
    • and why so many women stay stuck in lives that no longer fit

We also dive into energy work and quantum healing and how these tools helped her reconnect with herself, reprogramme her thinking, and begin creating a life that actually felt like hers.

    This isn’t about overnight transformation.

It’s about learning to trust yourself again.

Understanding that self-love isn’t optional - it’s the starting point.

And recognising that sometimes, what feels like everything falling apart…

…is actually everything starting to fall into place.

In this inspiring episode, she shares how she navigated difficult periods in her life and used those experiences to build a brand and visibility coaching business rooted in authenticity and purpose.

She offers honest insights into the realities of building a business, from overcoming self-doubt to stepping into visibility with confidence.

This conversation is a reminder that success is not just about strategy, but about alignment - knowing who you are, what you want, and having the courage to be seen. Whether you are at the beginning of your entrepreneurial journey or looking to grow your impact, Sarah’s story shows what is possible when authenticity, resilience, and the right guidance come together.

  • Episode 30 - From Storytelling To Success

In this episode Louisa Herridge shares her deeply inspiring journey from personal trauma to becoming a successful writing and empowerment coach. After navigating significant challenges in her own life, Louisa discovered the transformative power of storytelling - not only as a way to process her experiences, but also as a path to healing, growth, and purpose.

Through courage, self-reflection, and a determination to reclaim her voice, Louisa turned her adversity into a powerful narrative that resonated with others. What began as a personal journey of expression gradually evolved into a thriving business, where she now supports individuals to explore their own stories and use them as a catalyst for change.

Today, Louisa works with aspiring writers, entrepreneurs, and individuals who feel called to share their experiences but may not yet know where to begin. Through coaching, writing programmes, and a supportive community environment, she empowers people to find their voice, shape their stories, and recognise the value in their lived experiences.

Her work is rooted in the belief that everyone has a story worth telling - and that by owning and sharing our stories, we can transform not only our own lives but also inspire and connect with others on a deeply human level. Louisa’s journey is a powerful reminder that even the most difficult chapters of our lives can become the foundation for something meaningful, impactful, and empowering.
