Episode 164/ 52: What's on Tonight vs. Everything, Everywhere, All at Once

Season 4 | Episode 164
47m | Sep 14, 2026

In this episode of Yhea Foo Nah Foo, we start with summer, family, the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, and a little talk about money and investing… and somehow end up discussing dopamine, AI, biological mini-brains, the simulation, brain farms, classic movies, and whether humans are basically just carbon-based computers.

Yeah… it goes there. 😂

But underneath all the Foo nonsense, there’s a real conversation happening about something we’re all dealing with: information overload.

We live in a world where everything wants our attention. Our phones, the news, social media, emails, texts, algorithms, and the constant stream of information can make us feel like we have to know everything and respond to everything immediately.

So what happens when we don't?

We talk about teaching our kids how to deal with the things they can't control, finding healthy ways to unplug, why movies used to feel like actual events, and why sometimes the best thing you can do for yourself is simply step away from the noise.

And yes… we still manage to talk about bidets, CrowdStrike glitches, brain farms, and whether we're living inside a giant computer.

Because this is Yhea Foo Nah Foo.

Listen to yourself.

Then maybe turn off your phone.
