Welp! That was definitely a show. Temu Lanterns. Unnecessary plot lines. Never-seen-again characters (And those we wish we never saw in the first place. Looking at YOU, Maggie.) As you might expect, the fellas have a whirlwind of thoughts and feelings about the finale and this season of LANTERNS in general. Will there be a season 2? (Edu is not holding his breath.) However you feel about the show and this finale, you're sure to have plenty of laughs with our recap. As usual, don't bother watching if you want a deep, introspective breakdown. These are just four bruthas shootin' the sh*t about a superhero show (er, I mean, a gritty and grounded crime drama).

Welp! You knew the fellas were gonna have a lot to say about this episode. From John's full-blown transformation to "Jules" from Pulp Fiction, to the apparent string-pasta-thin budget, the boys wanna know: how many of these 24 got-damn mystery boxes are we gonna get solved in one episode? Demon Lindelof strikes again.

Is it our imagination, or is John getting and sounding blacker? Is Kerry after that John D? And how many mystery boxes is Damon Lindelof going to drop in this show and never answer? The fellas discuss these and all the usual tangents.

Nzinga is back to join the fellas, share her theories, and help Ron cope with how lame this Manhunter seems. Aren't they supposed to be one of the most formidable opponents to the Lantern Corps? This Manhunter isn't a Lantern-level threat. Hell. It's not even a Batman-level threat. Have Nightwing take care of it. As Edu says, the last three episodes better be "The Wire"-level good.

WE KNEW IT! Or rather, we had a good idea that you-know-who would be a Manhunter. All the usual hilarity ensues as we discuss this episode and the revelations made. Including JD falling victim to that interdimensional box again, and Aaron Pierre quite possibly did a Google search to figure out how to talk "American Black."

Given the themes of being Black in 'murica, you know the fellas were gonna have a lot to say, and that Ron, at some point (if not multiple points), would take some ish.

Also this week, we're joined by Jean G. Jr. from the fellow Lorehounds podcast Comics Vs. You can find it wherever you listen to podcasts. Here's the show link:

Edu is back to join the fellas and explain why he is concerned about the series' future. Spoiler alert: it has to do with Damon Lindelof. Also, we get the usual comical tangents, including the possible origin of Ron's first black card. All this and more.

The fellas are back with a new show. HBO's Lanterns Season 1 Episode 1 is on the chopping block, with special guest star David Erickson from The Lorehounds. Is the show as good as the comics? How close is it to the comics? And how many times can Ron put his foot in his mouth in one episode? All this and more.

No, Edu's brain was not transplanted into the body of a white man. This week on the show, we have one of the original Lorehounds (the patron saint of the network we're on), David E., back to discuss our overall impression of season 3.

The fellas discuss the season three finale of House of the Dragon, and it looks like Rhaenyra is finally taking care of her shit, but at what cost?

Also, another black reference seems to be lost on Ron. (Shocker!)

If you want to rule Westeros, you gotta be ten toes down. Rhaenyra may not be about it. Especially if the throne is lawful evil. Her ability to come out on top is starting to feel "INCONCEIVABLE!". Gotta watch the whole episode to know if any of this means.

ROOTS reference. Check. Basketball reference. Check. Badussy. Check. Yep, it's another typical chapter of four bruthas discussion wypipo probs in Westeros. Is this the one where Ron loses his Black card to boot? The fellas discuss House of the Dragon, season 3, episode 6.

We know that these bruthas tend to take their discussion of House of the Dragon in the freakiest of directions. But no one expected this! This is the episode that will grant us the title, "Master of Tangents."

As soon as our girl Rhaena walked out that damn cave looking like Halle Berry in "Jungle Fever," we KNEW the crew was gonna have somethin' to say.

This is the show where four bruthas dish the dirt about wypipo problems in Westeros, and boy, this week is a doozy as they dole out their stream-of-consciousness quips about House of the Dragon season 3 episode 4, "Tumbleton."

The fellas are joined by a special guest star, "Nzinga" of Holodeckheauxs. She actually helps the show have a modicum of respectability, and she brings the much-needed woman's point of view. Unfortunately, Ron says some dumb sh*t that will probably get him canceled. And why is "Milli Vanilli" in the title of this episode? Watch or listen to find out.

Well, Rhaenyra didn't do what any of us expected she would do, and the fellas have some thoughts about it. Also, of all the lousy fathers in Westeros, who happens to be the one deadbeat dad they focus on? Typical. Also, this is not the show you listen to if you want a deep dive into the happenings. Go listen to our sister show, House of the Dragon.

The fellas are excited to discuss the season 3 premiere of House of the Dragon. Fair warning up front: this is not the kind of show you watch if you want a play-by-play recap. But if you want to watch four bruthas talk about white people problems in Westeros, enjoy. Hilarity ensues.

It's a miracle! No technical difficulties this week. This episode is longer than usual because we have a drawn-out debate about whether Amazon's Spider Noir is a good show overall and a good superhero show in particular. But not before JD and Ron get into what seems like a personal topic: whether JD should have known certain details about a show Ron spoiled years ago. In the last segment, they get ready for their House of the Dragon coverage starting next week. We also talked a little bit about basketball, where Ron learns whether New York has two basketball teams.

00:00 - The long-standing debate about Ron spoiling The Office

09:07 - Spider Noir discussion

1:01:37 - The Bastard Velaryon Brothers

1:06:26 - The NBA finals

Does it matter whether or not Andor has the connective tissue of Star Wars if it's a good f***ing movie? Are horror movies the new saving grace of Hollywood? How much longer can this country take the horror of PO(tu)S? These are just a few of the topics discussed on this week's show.

Also, some technical difficulties abide. (Shocker!)

This week's topics:

00:00 - Andor and the Storytelling of Star Wars

05:44 - Obsession, Backrooms, and Horror Movies

22:04 - The LA mayoral race and that Meet the Press interview with Donald Trump (and the aforementioned technical difficulties)
