• Farewell For Now, Last Episode of Season one! with Hosts Nathan and Maggie

    Hi everyone, this will be our last episode of season 1! We hope you understand this sudden ending but we have realized over the course of making this podcast what types of conversations and guests we want to bring forward into our next season. Our podcast is still going to center around the entertainment industry but the content is shifting to something that is more relevant in how we see the world today. We want to thank all of our amazing guest who have been on our podcast for giving such great advice to people who are starting out in the industry and a special thanks to our audience members who have been listening to us since we started. We hope that you will tag along with us as we continue to learn and grow in this new world of ours.

Active in social justice, Nathan volunteers for organizations such as Freedom For Immigrants and CORE. Recently, he has been taking advantage of Social Media to Direct and Create, using these experiences in social justice to inspire his films and documentaries. This week we'll talk to Nate about his creative journey from freelancing, creating Latinx inspired content, and directing for social media platforms.

    This week we also discuss Juneteenth and the importance of the Black Lives Matter Movement. The murder of George Floyd and many others has lead to the biggest civil rights movement in the history of the world. Police brutality in this country has lead to generations of suffering and systemic racism since the freedom of enslaved africans in 1865. Nikki, Nathan, and I are roommates and wanted to have a conversation on the importance of anti-racism and active alliship for BIPOC and POC peoples. Sometimes these conversations about race can seem uncomfortable, but these are necessary conversations to have in your home, even ours.
