Polyvagal Theory with Jenna Mamorsky, LPC

Episode 6
50m | Aug 23, 2021

Jenna Mamorsky, LPC, and I dive into a topic I’ve been dying to explore more for a long, LONG, time: Polyvagal Theory. I've struggled to find a description of the theory that felt thorough yet understandable, but I think that this episode does just that. We get into the anatomy behind the theory, what polyvagal theory might have to say about self care, what symptoms can arise from nervous systems imbalances, and how polyvagal theory understands trauma’s integration into the body. We even learn how we can improve our vagal tone. This conversation is curious, informative, and so useful for all of us.
