• We're so funny we should have a podcast

We’re back! And in the first episode of Season 4, we’re talking holidays, Netflix (obviously), those bizarre “what are the chances?!” small-world coincidences - and Lisa entering her Granny Era a little prematurely.

A catch-up, a few stories, plenty of laughs and the usual conversations that somehow end up nowhere near where we expected.

    S4E1 - 35m - Sep 6, 2026
  • Hugly

This week Lisa and Katie somehow cover everything and nothing - the great naming debate, how often you really change your bedsheets, the passport saga Nigel is not happy about, and 12 lads loose in Albufeira. Then we attempt to define the concept of "hot-ugly," a debate that may need its own episode. Come for the tangents, stay for the tangents.

  • Talk to the string because the balloon doesn't know

This week we're discussing the only person we know who could manage to injure themselves playing walking netball, whether AI boyfriends are the future of relationships (or a complete disaster), the ridiculous things that fall out of our mouths, our latest TV reviews and why we're still not over £17 cocktails.

Grab a cuppa (or a £17 cocktail if you're feeling fancy) and come join us.

Don't forget to like, subscribe and let us know in the comments - what's the most ridiculous way you've ever injured yourself?

    S3E9 - 38m - Jun 27, 2026
  • It's just so sad for you because you were so smart

This week we're discussing Katie's birthday (a surprise for Lisa), recapping Lisa's trip to her daughter's art show and somehow ending up deep in the weeds of perimenopause - as one does.

If Brené Brown or Oprah is listening... hi. We see you. Call us.

    S3E8 - 37m - Jun 5, 2026
  • He was working on the Lord's day

This week on Back to Me - injuries take centre stage, including Katie’s tumble dryer incident (yes, really). We compare Lisa vs Katie holiday packing styles, dive into our usual Netflix reviews and chats, and take his as a trigger warning before anything involving Nigel. Consider yourselves warned.

    S7E3 - 39m - May 24, 2026
  • We've Always Had Sides

This week on Back to Me - two very different weekends.

Katie leaned fully into her garden era (plants were purchased, naturally), while Lisa was out living her best life at the BIG DAY OUT. Balance.

We also get into the chaos around Pints and Ponytails ( @Thesecretlifeofdads ) and why their trolls seriously need to get a life. Opinions are shared. Strongly.

Expect the usual mix of nonsense, side tracking and absolutely no resolution to anything.

Listen now and decide whose weekend you’d rather have.

    S3E6 - 34m - Apr 24, 2026
  • Sometimes Shirley is Right

In this episode we cover skiing (none of us are professionals, let’s be clear - definitely not Katie anyway), Lisa’s ongoing book progress (it’s happening…we're excited) and the absolute crime that is ID photos.

Katie’s is, without exaggeration, a doozy. Genuinely concerning. Borderline unrecognisable.

There’s also the usual chaos, interruptions and at least one moment where we completely forget what we were originally talking about (sure that's every week).

    S3E5 - 48m - Apr 22, 2026
  • I'm swinging, I'm swinging, I'm not really

World politics, "the" files and why Lisa absolutely cannot cope with either.

Lisa’s latest wellness discovery - an energy therapist - while Katie remains… sceptical.

Plus the book update, the current price of gold (for reasons no one fully understands) and Katie’s granny celebrating another birthday.

    S3E4 - 37m - Mar 13, 2026
  • Not For Nige

This week we deep dive into Netflix - from How to Get to Heaven from Belfast to Bridgerton - because nothing says intellectual growth like period drama and Northern Irish chaos.

We absolutely do not discuss the Epstein files because Lisa cannot cope and we value her nervous system.

We answer real questions from Lisa’s followers.

Katie is forced to answer first.

It goes exactly as badly as you’d hope.

There’s unsolicited life coaching, accidental honesty and a what-you'd-expect conversation about "face brushing".

    S3E3 - 35m - Feb 20, 2026
  • Is, Was, Is, Was and Is

Lisa takes us through her contact lens journey, which somehow turns into a full emotional experience. If you wear lenses, you’ll feel seen. If you don’t, you’ll feel smug (Katie).

We briefly unpack a local “BinGATE” situation that absolutely does not matter to most of you… but we make it matter anyway. Because that’s talent.

We cautiously touch on the Epstein files - lightly, confidently and with exactly the level of research you’d expect from us - and then tackle two questions from Lisa’s followers. By “tackle” we mean Lisa makes Katie answer first with absolutely no preparation, purely for her own entertainment.

    S3E2 - 37m - Feb 13, 2026
  • We Haven't Found Our Common Truth

The Beckhams are having drama, TV is calling and we’re questioning our own “normal” habits… all in one episode. Tune in for laughs, awkward truths and the kind of banter only Back To Me can deliver.

    S3E1 - 39m - Feb 9, 2026
  • Do They Even Like Each Other?

It’s the final episode of Season 2 and we’re officially signing off for Christmas.

In this one, we get cosy and do a proper end-of-season catch-up. We chat Christmas films (the good, the questionable and the ones mostly Katie doesn't like), shout out a few local restaurants we love – apologies in advance if you don’t live near us – and reflect on what this season has actually taught us.

There’s a bit of nostalgia, a bit of honesty and the usual chaos, as we wrap up Season 2 and head into a Christmas break.

Thank you for listening, watching and sticking with us this season. We’ll be back (bit threatening eh?)

    S2E12 - 35m - Dec 19, 2025
  • Ra Ra Us

This week we’re talking video game weapons of choice. Lisa goes straight for a flame thrower because she thinks it’s very epic, while Katie – a past gamer – knows what's up: the Halo energy sword.

We also dip into some sensible territory with the mental load and how to manage Christmas without losing your mind.

And finally, Lisa’s Santa inflatable. It does nothing all day, then at 4pm it perks up – but only after Lisa gets involved.

Chaos, comfort and questionable Christmas décor – enjoy.

    S2E11 - 41m - Dec 12, 2025
  • New Balls Please

This week on Back to Me, we face an important dilemma… which one of us would actually make it on I’m a Celebrity? Lisa? Absolutely not. Katie? As long as she can close her eyes under water.

We also dive into Christmas trees. Lisa’s is a perfectly curated, beautiful tree that matches the tone of her room. Katie’s is .. not that.

Plus, we chat through our Christmas traditions – the ones we love, the ones we pretend to love and the ones we’ll be carrying on whether anyone else likes them or not.

Expect the usual teasing, questionable opinions, and plenty of festive chaos.

    S2E10 - 41m - Dec 5, 2025
  • Meanwhile I Had Oliver Break My Waters

Katie is having a lazy day – Lisa, of course, blames the moon. We catch up on each other’s weekends, share some unexpectedly passionate opinions about hoovers and mops and generally question what in the world are we talking about. So yeah… it’s one of those episodes.

    S2E9 - 33m - Nov 28, 2025
  • Pod on the Loo

This week we dive into the real meanings behind some of the sayings we all use without thinking, and somehow end up talking about celebrity traitors, too. Lisa fills us in on her appearance on Lorraine – yes, the actual TV show – and, in the biggest shock of all, she booked a dinner table for 10.30pm. Will she ever recover? Will Katie?

    S2E8 - 39m - Nov 22, 2025
  • Still On The Piping

This week we’re talking grammar (exciting!!!), the things that constantly irritate Lisa and a very confusing life coaching segment about what Lisa calls “the emotional tunnel” and Katie absolutely does not understand. There are metaphors that may or may not make sense, patient explanations and absolutely no progress made whatsoever.

As ever, we laugh at each other (and ourselves), question everything and still manage to offer nothing helpful.

Listen, share and tell us your own irrational annoyances for next week.

    S2E7 - 42m - Nov 7, 2025
  • The Cave Hill

In this week's episode we dive into the science of swearing and why it might actually make you feel better, whether you want it to or not. We also somehow end up back on Netflix, reborn dolls (again), and a few grammar corrections along the way. And yes, Katie admits Lisa was right about something. It is documented now. Forever.

Listen, laugh, and feel slightly smarter by the end. Or at least more emphatic.

    S2E6 - 48m - Oct 31, 2025
  • With Celebrity Comes Fame

This week on Back to Me we somehow manage to cover grief, Netflix (because when do we not), Katie’s ongoing battle with her boiler and Lisa’s possibly totally rational fear of roads.

It’s one of those episodes that starts with chaos, detours through a surprisingly grounded chat about how we handle loss and ends with questionable life choices. We even tried to tie up some loose ends.

    So pretty normal then.

    S2E5 - 48m - Oct 24, 2025
  • Partners, Weddings, Can't Remember

JK Rowling, Jay Shetty, monks, partners, significant others, weddings, 13th, Shakra, moons.

It'll all make sense if you listen (possibly)
