• Week 14 Weigh-In Monday: Brain Tumor, Seizures & Weight Gain

In this Week 14 Weigh-In Monday episode, Regina shares a deeply personal update about Hui’s brain tumor journey, seizures, brain surgery, recovery, and the emotional weight of walking through a medical crisis.

Hui had three seizures on Tuesday, July 28. Brain surgery followed on July 31. Then on Tuesday, August 4, the staples were removed.

    Jesus!!!!

This episode is also an honest conversation about weight gain during stress. Regina talks about how fear, caregiving, hospital days, lack of sleep, emotions, and trying to hold everything together can affect the body.

This is why Rethinking Weight is not just about the scale. It is about the weight we carry physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Some weeks are about progress. Some weeks are about prayer. Some weeks are about survival. And some weeks, the victory is simply that you kept showing up.

Thank you for listening, praying, and walking this journey with us. Also my church is doing a Meal Train for us if you'd like to participate. Thank you in advance - https://mealtrain.com/6m54wd

  • Episode 73: When Everything Changes - Facing a Brain Tumor and Brain Surgery

When Everything Changes - Facing a Brain Tumor and Brain Surgery:

Sometimes life changes in a single moment.

Today, I am sharing something deeply personal. We are facing a brain tumor, an upcoming brain surgery, and all of the emotions, questions, prayers, and decisions that come with hearing news you never expected to receive.

This is about Hui - pronounced Hugh - and the journey we are now walking together.

We may not know exactly what every day ahead will bring, but we are choosing to move forward with courage, faith, prayer, and hope - one step, one prayer, and one day at a time.

This is not simply a conversation about a medical diagnosis. It is about what happens when everything changes, how you continue moving when your heart feels overwhelmed, and how faith carries you through the moments you cannot control.

Thank you for praying with us and standing beside us during this journey.

  • Weigh In Monday but It's Tuesday

Later today, I’ll be sharing something much deeper and more personal - a conversation about a brain tumor, what that experience is like, and what we are doing about it.

But Today is Weigh-In Monday is here… even though it’s Tuesday! And I’m still showing up.

I’m celebrating another step forward on this journey. I’ve released more weight, and I am now 213.4. I feel great, I feel encouraged, and I’m reminded that every choice, every step, and every moment of consistency matters.

This journey is not about being perfect. It’s about continuing. It’s about paying attention to my body, telling myself the truth, and choosing to keep moving forward.

So stay tuned, because today is about both victory and real life.

  • Day 29 Challenge + Day 13 Momentum: Weigh-In Monday at 214.0

It’s Day 29 of the Challenge, Day 13 of Momentum, and it’s Weigh-In Monday.

Today I weighed in at 214.0, and I feel great.

Yes, I’m celebrating the number, but I’m also celebrating how I feel. I feel lighter, stronger, encouraged, and reminded that consistency really does speak.

This journey is not just about the scale. The scale gives information, but it does not tell the whole story. It cannot measure every choice, every prayer, every workout, every glass of water, every moment of discipline, or every time I kept going when I could have stopped.

That is what Rethinking Weight™ is all about.

    Body. Mind. Movement. Truth.

Reflection: Where are you seeing progress beyond the number on the scale?

  • Day 27 Challenge + Day 11 Momentum | We Are Working It Out Ya'll

We are working it out, ya'll.

Today’s message is about more than the workout. It is about discipline, consistency, and the choice to keep showing up even when it is hard.

I’m celebrating a win because I have released 14 pounds. This girl is non stop. Not because every day is easy, but because I keep coming back.

Sometimes we think we are only working out the body, but we are also working out our habits, our mindset, our excuses, and the part of us that wants to quit too soon.

Real progress happens when we stay with it long enough to see the change.

Reflection: What in your life are you working out right now, and are you willing to stay with it long enough to see the progress?

    Meet Naomi.

She isn't a real person—but she represents thousands of women.

Women who are successful on the outside while quietly carrying grief, responsibility, stress, caregiving, exhaustion, and the pressure to keep going.

In this heartfelt episode, Regina Williams introduces Naomi, the woman behind the mission of Rethinking Weight™, and explains why weight is often about so much more than food.

If you've ever felt like you were carrying the weights of life, this conversation was created for you.

Because healing begins when we stop asking, "What's wrong with me?" and start asking, "What am I carrying?"

  • 🎉 WEIGH-IN MONDAY 🎉 - The Scale Doesn't Tell The Whole Story

It's Weigh-In Monday, and this week the scale showed a 3-pound gain.

But is the scale telling the whole story?

In this episode, Regina shares why progress cannot be measured by one number alone. From building muscle to creating healthier habits, some of the most important victories happen beyond the scale.

If you've ever felt discouraged by a weigh-in, this conversation will remind you that progress comes in many forms and every healthy choice matters.

    Reflection:

What victories have you been overlooking because they didn't show up on the scale?

  • Day 20 - Body InMotion LIVE: Your Body Is Listening

Today is not just about working out.

It is about listening to the body, reconnecting with the body, and reminding yourself that you are still here.

Sometimes our bodies carry more than weight. They carry stress, disappointment, grief, pressure, responsibility, and all the things we never say out loud.

So today, we are not moving to punish the body. We are moving to come back to it.

    A step counts.

    A stretch counts.

    A breath counts.

    A small yes still counts.

  • Day 19: When You Have to Adjust, Retune the String

Day 19 of the 30-Day Challenge and Day 3 of the Momentum Challenge is about adjusting without quitting.

Sometimes life changes the way we thought we were going to show up. Our body may feel off. Our mind may be tired. Pain, stress, or injury may shift the plan.

But that does not mean the song is over.

As a violinist, I know when one string is off, you do not throw the whole violin away. You pause, listen, retune the string, and keep playing.

That is the message for today.

If I had to sit down, I’m still showing up.

If I had to slow down, I’m still showing up.

If I had to change the movement, I’m still showing up.

    I changed the plan.

I did not break the promise.

Reflection: Where have you been hard on yourself because you had to adjust?

  • Day 18 - BYOB: Progress Has to Pass Through Pain

Today’s message is about the part of progress we don’t always talk about.

Progress sounds beautiful when we talk about results, healing, weight loss, stronger bodies, better relationships, growing businesses, new doors, and answered prayers. But before progress shows up looking pretty, sometimes it first shows up uncomfortable.

There is a kind of pain that comes with growth, discipline, stretching, correction, waiting, starting over, and not giving up when everything in you wants to stop.

This is not about ignoring injury, staying in harmful situations, or pretending pain does not matter. This is about learning the difference between pain that is destroying you and discomfort that is developing you.

BYOB means Bring Your Own Body, your own story, your own process, and your own willingness to keep moving with wisdom.

Reflection: What part of your progress have you been resisting because it feels uncomfortable?

  • DAY 17 - PART 2: Vegetarians Need Meat for Protein? Not True. | Plant-Based Protein Sources

Do vegetarians need meat for protein? Not true.

In this Day 17 - Part 2 episode, we continue rethinking one of the biggest food myths: that protein only comes from meat.

Today we’re looking at more plant-based protein sources, including chia seeds, oats, walnuts, hazelnuts, lentils, chickpeas, black beans, kidney beans, pecans, quinoa, macadamia nuts, spinach, broccoli, and Brussels sprouts.

This conversation is not about judging anyone’s plate. It’s about learning that nourishment can come in many forms. Seeds, nuts, legumes, grains, and vegetables can all play a part in building a filling, colorful, nourishing plant-based meal.

Some foods bring more protein. Some bring fiber. Some bring healthy fats. Some bring vitamins and minerals. But together, they remind us that plant-based eating is not empty, weak, or boring.

    Today’s reflection:

What plant-based protein could you add to your plate this week that you may have been overlooking?

Today, BYOB means Bring Your Own Body.

Not the body you wish you had. Not the body you keep trying to hurry up and change. Bring the body you have today — the one that may need support, patience, movement, and grace.

Sometimes we think showing up means doing everything full out. But wisdom teaches us to listen, adjust, and work with the body instead of fighting against it.

  • DAY 15 — Weigh-In Monday: From 227 to 216… That’s Progress!

The internet has been out because of 2 major storms - sorry for not posting, but I'm baccccck!

Day 15 is Weigh-In Monday, and today we’re talking about progress that adds up.

Did you know that releasing 1–3 pounds a week may not look like a lot in the beginning, but over time it really does make a difference? I went from 227 to 216 in just a month and a few days - and I’m eating, moving, and releasing weight too.

    That’s progress.

    Life Lesson:

Don’t despise small beginnings. Every healthy choice, every adjustment, every time you show up for yourself - it matters.

    Reflection:

Are you giving yourself credit for the progress you’ve already made?

  • Day 13 - Arms In Motion LIVE: Seated, But Still Strong

AUDIO REPEAT - Because of major storms I can't do audio but reposted Day 11 but come on live.

Today we are talking about what it means to move with wisdom, strength, and purpose - even when movement does not look the way we planned.

Sometimes we have to adjust, modify, and honor where our body is. But that does not mean we quit. It means we listen. It means we protect what needs healing while still strengthening what can move.

Arms In Motion is our reminder that seated does not mean stopped. Modified does not mean weak. And healing does not mean you are out of the race.

So today, we are moving what we can, strengthening what we can, and keeping our promise to ourselves one modified step at a time.

  • DAY 12 : Vegetarians Need Meat for Protein? Not True.

Do vegetarians really need meat to get enough protein? Not true.

In today’s Day 12 episode, we’re rethinking the myth that protein only comes from meat. Plant-based foods like beans, lentils, chickpeas, nuts, seeds, quinoa, greens, and whole-food meals can help nourish the body and support a healthy lifestyle.

This conversation is not about judging anyone’s plate. It’s about learning, growing, and understanding that plant-based eating can be filling, flavorful, and full of protein.

Today, we’re opening the door to a better question:

What if the protein you need has been growing from the ground all along?

  • Day 11: Arms In Motion | Seated Upper Body Workout for Strength, Healing & Showing Up

    Day 11 of June's 30 Day Challenge

Today we are moving with wisdom.

Sometimes the assignment is to adjust, listen, and keep showing up in a way that honors the body.

Upper body workouts are so important because our arms, shoulders, chest, and back help us do everyday things: lifting, reaching, carrying, pushing, pulling, sitting tall, breathing better, and keeping our posture strong.

When you’re injured, it can be easy to feel discouraged. But movement reminds us, “I am still in this. I am still able. I am still making progress.”

Today’s Arms In Motion workout is about keeping the body engaged while giving the lower body space to heal. We are not quitting. We are modifying.

Join me LIVE at 12pm CST.

    We are moving those arms.

We are strengthening our upper body.

We are keeping our promise to ourselves.

Thunderous Thursday means we may be seated, but we are still showing up loud.

  • Day 10: The Work Was Working | Strength, Recovery & Be-Mighty

Day 10 is a real and personal reflection on strength, consistency, and what happens when life catches you off guard.

Right before playing violin at church, Regina fell and hurt her leg badly. She didn’t think she could push through, but Be-Mighty kept ringing in her spirit, Move Forward stayed on repeat, and Truth reminded her that consistency matters most when life is hard.

This episode is about more than a fall. It is about realizing that the small daily choices - movement, stretching, balance work, walking, strengthening, and showing up - may be preparing your body for moments you never saw coming.

Sometimes the work does not look like it is working until life reveals that it was.

Regina reflects on pain, recovery, strength, balance, stamina, and the powerful truth that movement is not just about losing weight. It is about living stronger, standing steadier, recovering better, and becoming unbreakable.
