Joe's not played anything this week, he's been trapped on the continent. Ryan's finally beaten Trails in the Sky, and has had a change of heart about a certain small game coming out this November. It's all happening! Ryan and Joe also discuss Kingdom Hearts 4, and the horrific state of DLSS5. A visual example is attached with this episode thumbnail, for your convenience.

It's the week before Gamescom, and the industry seems to not want to slow down at all. Joe's uncharacteristically been playing a lot, with one game so boring that it sent him into a week long stupour, and Ryan has been excluding Joe from a Games Club. It's a normal day.

Ryan also seems to think that Earthbound is a real place, we're still trying to work that one out.

Joe and Ryan talk about what the hell makes a good exclusive, and why the hell PlayStation doesn't have any of them. Astro Bot sucks. Splatoon Raiders does not suck. Nintendo knows how exclusive games work!

Neither of us have played Balan Wonderworld this week.

It's that time yet again. The time of year where we all watch adverts, talk about what we can't play, and get excited to just spend spend spend. It's Keigh-Three! In lieu of Stephen, Ryan and Joe talk about all four major showcases in our longest episode yet! It's a long one, and we're thorough.

A great time was had by all!

We lose one, to gain someone else. Join us for this transitionary period, where Stephen bids us farewell, leaves us with some gems, before going to never be heard from again. (This is a lie, he will return, one day.)

As a farewell, we talk about 007: First Light, Mina the Hollower, and a little something called Titanium Court. Do we know what that is? One of us does.

Joe also discovers Frog Fractions.

Star Fox is back - and it's the same game. We talk about it. We also let Stephen talk about Marathon! Joe abandons his british routes, and Hohokum gets a mention. We go all over the place, and we end up having to talk about Bubsy. There really is no escape at all.

Pragmata is a game that both Stephen and Joe have been looking forward to talking about, and now they can! How exciting! They both also continue the tradition of Prestige British TV, and talk about something so alienating to our American audience, that we might risk losing them. Oh well, this is us.

Back down to just two of us, we return to the world of Marathon, while Joe shares all about his PS5 mishaps. We scratch the surface of Pragmata, and Stephen delves into the world of Metroid Prime 2: Echoes! (echoes)

We've been talking about Resident Evil, so we talk just a little bit more about Resident Evil. Both of us have played and beaten Resident Evil Requiem, and we both have a lot to talk about with that game! We also talk about a few other games too, including Monster Hunter Stories 3, Chrono Trigger, and a little multiplayer game called Marathon. (Joe promises to play it.)

This episode, we continue our retrospective of the Resident Evil franchise, stopping by Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3, and their remakes to see what we feel like still works for the franchise. We also talk about a certain game from a certain Suda51, and dig into the ethically dubious world of cat breeding. We also talk about Mewgenics.

In celebration of a certain such game releasing in a couple of weeks, we're romping through the Resident Evil games. We find ourselves at a crossroads with Resident Evil 7 and Resident Evil Village, and we have to work it out. It's a clash that might cause the end of this podcast - but probably not.

Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is the game of the week, here. And it is most definitely a game. A very bad one. We return, following up on the speculation of Myles Mackenzie with the truth of Myles Mackenzie. Joe shares his in progress thoughts about Metroid Prime 4: Beyond, while both Stephen and Joe get into the weeds of Horses (the game, not the animal). Stephen also discovers a dark secret about Super Smash Bros. and we both talk about Dispatch. A game that has gameplay.

In case you were worried that Stephen had been taken by some kind of alien creature in the last episode, he's back on good form and sharing all kinds of negativity over games that he's played in the last couple of weeks. From DoubleFine to Activision, nobody is safe. Joe also gets on the train and shares some concerns about Octopath Traveler 0, and speculates about Myles Mackenzie.
