    APR: Annual or annualised percentage rate (used typically of interest on loans or credit).


    Compound interest: The addition of interest to the principal sum of a loan or deposit, or in other words, interest on interest.


    Impact investing: Investments made into companies, organisations, and funds with the intention to generate a measurable, beneficial social or environmental impact alongside a financial return.


    Net worth: Everything you own minus everything you owe.


    SIPP: A self-invested personal pension, a pension plan that enables the holder to choose and manage the investments made.
