  • Ep. 18 The Power of Self-Reflection & Prayer

    Growth and healing is messy.

Our most necessary growth arrives wrapped in thorns. It's uncomfortable and it hurts. But it ushers us back to our faith, to the spirituality that humbles us because we’ve stopped resisting the present.

In this episode, I share my struggles of this year and the valuable lessons along the way. I also share a prayer asking God for clarity, guidance, and compassion which has helped me tremendously. I hope it helps ground you and if you are struggling with something, you are not alone we all GROW through life.

  • Ep. 17 Clarity Through Sobriety

Clarity is one of the priceless gifts of sobriety. In order to spiritually love ourselves, we have to take the time to sit with the memories that drove us to escape our lives. We can't beat ourselves up to becoming the best version of ourselves and we cannot own our story by numbing or running from it. Providing ourselves with this presence that we so desperately need connects us to our sacred truths while helping us heal our story.

It's time to dig deep to find that voice that so soothes our hearts because it draws us closer to our souls and all we have is our heart. What are we going to do with it? Will we choose to connect to it or silence it or will we let it speak? Eventually, we're going to hear it roar. Whether that happens through pain or glory – is up to us.

Through inner work and sobriety, you find out exactly who you are. The world no longer gets to tell you who you are because you discover it through connecting to your soul's values. It takes time to get there so be patient with your journey. Be merciful with yourself. I am here to tell you that there is a divine light at the other end of the tunnel. Stay true to what your heart needs, you can't go wrong there.

  • Ep. 9 "I AM" Powerful Self-Love Affirmations

Affirmations can help us re-program our mindset and they are a good way of promoting a healthier perspective on life.

Some of us have a broken record in our mind that keeps us stuck in hopelessness but that can be changed. We can put the needle on a whole new record but it takes repetition and it takes work. It takes commitment to ourselves. Affirmations can help us change our outlook on life and that negative narrative that holds us back. But we also need to build trust and confidence in ourselves by doing something outside of our comfort zone. We have to take ownership of our disempowering beliefs to transcend them.

Whether we choose to stay stagnant or we choose to cultivate the best version of ourselves, we have the power to choose every day.

  • Special Ep. I'm 4 Years Sober Today

I was terrified of breaking up with alcohol. I thought if I stopped drinking my life was over. But little did I know it was just starting because it was the birth of my transformation and the start of a new life.

Sobriety isn't easy and getting sober is only half the battle because inner work is crucial in reaching for self-actualization. Our inner truth can be a beautiful love story if we’re willing to do the work to make peace with it.

Our inner demons lose power over us once we start running toward them. If we keep distracting and numbing ourselves, they hold all the power. But in running towards them, we befriend them. And in befriending them, we can make peace with them because in getting to know them, we can heal what conceived them.

  • Ep. 7 How Mirror Work Helps You

Self-love can be practiced in many different ways but mirror work is a deeply spiritual experience. It demonstrates love directly into the eyes of your soul. Feel mercy for the human being looking back at you. Look at her without judgment, regrets, and loathing. Pay attention to the quiet beliefs that surface while doing this. Sometimes the negative beliefs about ourselves aren’t conscious, they hide in the subconscious mind and may surface as a whisper or an emotion.

  • Bonus Ep. Guided Meditation

I’ve created a bonus episode just for you. It’s a guided meditation for beginners. I know a lot of people think they can’t meditate because they can’t shut their thoughts off but meditation isn’t about control. It’s about surrender and letting go. So, I’ve put together a bonus episode to help you navigate the mind while meditating. Listen to it when you’re in a place where it’s quiet and you’ll have some time to relax.

  • Ep. 6 Spirituality Changes You

Meditation isn’t about control. It's about releasing control. You allow your thoughts to flow and pass through. It’s not about stopping them, judging, or containing them. You simply let them be and they pass. And in letting them pass your mind will slow down.

Meditation is about choosing to let go. It’s not hard, that’s what people like to tell themselves. But it is a practice. Just as we condition the body for fitness by going to the gym, we must condition and nourish the spirit.

When you choose to let go, you get closer to your peace. It’s in you and it’s yours. Just as we choose chaos, we can choose peace. We just have to change what we tell ourselves about meditation.

Meditation is practicing patience within and for your mind. The thing is, you have to choose it. And in doing so, you inch toward your higher self.

You tap into God's truth of you. Through this work the essence of your heart is set free, to help you navigate life and become the best version of yourself. The more and the longer you do this work the better your life gets. There’s a beautiful world inside of us all. We just have to practice mercy for our mind and body to connect to it all.

By tapping in, our life must change when we allow God to appear through that eternal loving energy.

Spirituality is a journey into your rebirth.

  • Ep. 5 The Power of Forgiveness

Forgiveness is an act of self-love. It’s a hard practice to initiate because strong emotions are tied to the memories that haunt us.

But forgiveness will help us dissolve the fog that those emotions create. It’s a fog that blocks our connection to the joy that we all have available to us. Forgiveness is going to help silence the noise in our hearts so that we can direct attention to what truly matters most to us.

It helps us open up a portal into the unknown. And in the unknown is where the ultimate beauty of life happens. It's where we meet the value of healing and the vitality of humility opens up our hearts for the first time. It’s messy and magical to just let it all go.

This is such an important part of our growth because, without forgiveness, we’re stagnant emotionally and spiritually. We carry bitterness in our hearts and broadcast it energetically, which is a disservice to us and the world around us.

The mind and spirituality inspire miracles if we open ourselves up to the magic of our imagination and the power of words spoken.

  • Ep. 4 Speak Your Truth

There is so much healing power in sharing our stories. Meaningful conversations can spark deep reflection which unlocks understanding. With speaking our truth, we begin to understand that what happened in our past lead us to make decisions born out of a need to survive and escape because the void was too loud and too painful. In speaking our truth, we start hearing our inner voice telling us what it is we need most, and as our body exhales this truth we make room for compassion and acceptance of who we needed to be in order to cope.

Inner work helps us breakthrough those walls around our hearts. Self-inquiry removes a layer and speaking our truth removes another.

Our inner demons become our allies when we let them speak because we can now heal what conceived them.

  • Ep. 3 Practice Acceptance

Living in resistance keeps us stuck. Whatever you’re resisting, you’re at war with. Acceptance gives you permission to heal. It doesn’t mean what happened was okay. But it gives you the opportunity to validate your feelings about the memory with the intention to heal - not to remain stuck in victimhood.

Victimhood holds us in the dark and nothing gets accomplished there – unless we’re choosing to move toward the light. Acceptance helps us turn that light on. And slowly, we can start moving towards it through inner work.

  • Ep. 2 It Starts with Self-Inquiry

One of the most important parts of inner work is self-inquiry. Are you living a life that reflects self-love? Do you fear going inward? Self-inquiry is the start of a journey back into the core of your heart – beyond the painful memories we’ve been suppressing. It’s finally listening to your inner voice. It’s accepting that beneath everything you’ve been doing to cope – there is an inner child that’s been silenced and forgotten. Your greatness awakens when you begin making peace with your inner child. And when you start reflecting – you realize she’s got so much to say. Drowning her will never make her go away.

  • Ep. 1 The Importance of Inner Work

We can fuel our strengths by making peace with our weaknesses. You just have to be willing to go there and stay true, to yourself. Who would you be if you weren’t masking pain? Who would you be if you didn’t hold profound resentments in your heart? Inner work is a journey into your rebirth.
