A hidden-camera investigation in Newark, Ohio, has expanded into a major criminal case involving Brianna and John Nethers of Heath. Police initially arrested the couple in June 2026 after searching their home and seizing multiple electronic devices. Investigators allege Brianna concealed a camera inside a purse to secretly record people in public restrooms, while John allegedly transferred and edited recordings found on his laptop.

The investigation has since expanded dramatically. A grand jury indicted the couple on dozens of charges, and police have identified more than a dozen potential victims, including minors.
