1h 21m | May 12, 2021

Esperanto is a language created with the purpose of being widely spoken and connecting people all around the world. However, this role has being filled by the English language. This can be seen particularly reflected in science and academia.

The usefulness and importance of having a common language to communicate cannot be denied. Nonetheless, this also comes with its own set of problems. In this episode, Julia Maristany talks to us about an article she wrote for voicesofacademia.com, where she explains some of the different problems that non-native speakers face in science and academia.
