In Episode 2 of Unquiet Realities, Winchester continues the Lake Pepin expedition with Keel, Wizard, and Summerwind, following the old serpent stories into the living current of the Mississippi.

What begins as a lake monster hunt becomes something stranger and more human: old reports rising from the archive, skeptical locals at the pub, witness accounts, false alarms on open water, natural explanations that do not quite close the door, and companions keeping watch beside a mystery that may never surface.

Ghosts of the Water is about the labor behind the wonder — the unglamorous, unpaid, half-ridiculous, half-dangerous work of taking an unlikely story seriously. Waves, sturgeon, pike, flying fish, questionable swimming decisions, gear checks, knives, broken chairs, bad motels, too little sleep, and the stubborn belief that some stories deserve more than a smirk.
