• Book of Acts: The Great Commission

Did you know that Jesus gave another important commission in Acts 1:1-11? Beyond Matthew 28:19, Jesus commanded us to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. This isn't just a suggestion—it's a powerful call to action.

You can't be a witness without the Holy Spirit. Start discipleship, build a church WITH the Holy Spirit.

Now that we have the Holy Spirit inside us, It's time to go!

  • Glorify

In this sermon, Pastor Ryan talks about this very emotional time in the life of Jesus. Jesus was about to be crucified and he's inching closer to the impending death that was awaiting him. But before that, he made a prayer, a very emotional, heartfelt prayer,

After Jesus said this, he looked toward heaven and prayed:

“Father, the hour has come. Glorify your Son, that your Son may glorify you. For you granted him authority over all people that he might give eternal life to all those you have given him. Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent. I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. And now, Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began. - John 17:1-5

  • I Call You Friends

In this Friends Sunday message, Pastor Ryan talks about how Jesus defines friends.

The main Bible verse for this sermon is from John 15:15:

I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

    1. Friends know things (John 13:5-6)
    2. Friends sacrifice (John 15:13)
    3. Friends will help you to your miracle. (Luke 5:18-20)
    4. Friends fellowship. (Luke 24:30-32)

  • Tested by Fire with Guest Preacher, Ps. Jonlee Muñoz

Guest preacher for this Sunday service was Ps Jonlee Muñoz of Crossroads Church, Mandaue City, Cebu.

The message is from Daniel 3:13-26 (Amplified Version)

Pastor Jonlee's message encourages us to develop a faith that says, "Even if God does not deliver me from this situation, I will still trust Him and remain faithful (loyal)."

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego believed that God could rescue them from the fiery furnace, but their faith remained strong even if He chose not to. This kind of faith is so deep and resilient that our loyalty to God remains unshaken, regardless of the outcomes we face.

The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego reminds us that true faith is not contingent on receiving the outcomes we hope for but rests in the assurance of God’s ultimate wisdom and purpose. However, we know the heart of God; He is a good Father who loves us deeply. It gives Him pleasure to give us the kingdom, and we can trust that He will never fail us.

  • My Turn To Give

Pastor Ryan talks about Mary and the broken jar.

Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, an expensive perfume; she poured it on Jesus’ feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. John 12:3

Why did mary do what she did? Why did she break that alabaster box that alabaster jar and pour out that expensive perfume?

When you have an understanding of God's love and goodness, pouring everything for the kingdom of God is a privilege and an honor. To pour everything for the kingdom may refer to your time, money, resources, skills etc. The world may see it as impractical but for those who have fully experienced Jesus in their lives, it's but a natural response.

  • Godly Fathers: The Biblical View of a Father

In this heartfelt and reflective Father's Day sermon, Pastor Ryan delivers a poignant message about the importance of Godly fathers. The message underscores the irreplaceable role fathers play in the stability and spiritual well-being of their families.

The 4 traits of a Godly Father:

    1) He trains his children in the ways of the Lord.

    2) He disciplines them with love and wisdom.

    3) He models a Christ-like behavior.

    4) He values leaving a Godly legacy to his children.

    ———

I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

    3 John 1:4

Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it - Proverbs 22:6

  • The Scandalous Grace Journey

Pastor Ryan discusses that the message of grace is not just radical, it is scandalous. It is scandalous for the religious mind that cannot comprehend how amazing this grace is. For the natural man, grace is hard to comprehend. After all, everything that we have. if not all, are given to us based on meritocracy.

    Steps of the Grace Journey:

    1. You are guilty.
    2. You have to be punished.
    3. The scandal of grace.
    4. Freed from condemnation.
    5. Live free from sin.

  • There Are Levels To This

In this sermon, Pastor Ryan talks about the 3 Levels of Blessings.

    1) Provision - God supplies our immediate needs. His provision is abundant and unfailing, ensuring that we are never in want.

Another of his disciples, Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, spoke up, “Here is a boy with five small barley loaves and two small fish, but how far will they go among so many?” - John 6:8-9

    2) Stewardship - We need to manage God's blessings wisely. It's a shift from being a recipient to being a steward of God's blessings

When they had all had enough to eat, he said to his disciples, “Gather the pieces that are left over. Let nothing be wasted." - John 6:12

    3) Eternal Blessings - Jesus is our eternal reward not the earthly benefits. He is the Bread of Life who offers eternal satisfaction.

Then Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. - John 6:35

“No, we don’t know, Lord,” Thomas said. “We have no idea where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is.[c] From now on, you do know him and have seen him!”

    4. She knows how to not be discouraged.
    5. She knows how to instruct.

“Woman,[a] why do you involve me?” Jesus replied. “My hour has not yet come.”

  • The Bucket Challenge

In this sermon, Pastor Ryan reads from John 4 - Jesus talks with a Samaritan woman. This chapter serves as a narrative of transitions - geographical, cultural, and personal. It illustrates the transition from location-based worship to a transformative encounter with Jesus.

True worship isn't just about rituals; it's about obedience to God's Word. Letting go of our earthly attachments opens us to the abundant life found in Christ alone.

True worship is a response to the Word of God.

True worship is obedience to His Word.

  • Born Again: What Is It Really About?

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.” - John 3:3

Pastor Ryan took on a vital subject that often gets overlooked. Many people, including Christians, can't grasp what it means to be "born again." The common evangelistic message boils down to just accepting Jesus to get into heaven when you die. But Pastor Ryan stressed that being born again is about much more than just what happens after death; it's much more than an escape from hell.

Being born again can be described in three statements:

    1) Born Again is Union of God and Man

    2) Born Again is Restoration of Lost Things

    3) Born Again is Expansion of the Kingdom of God

Being born again empowers believers to bring heaven to earth. This experience is about actively participating in the advancement of God's kingdom, transforming earthly realities to mirror heavenly ones.

The Divine Process - from Spiritual Truth to Physical Manifestation

Pastor Ryan emphasizes that God operates with order and consistency from the beginning of time. God's nature is characterized by order, not chaos, and His actions align perfectly with His established divine process.

As Christians, understanding God's ways is paramount, and we should not attempt to alter them but rather seek to grasp the process encapsulated within His Word.

Pastor Ryan underscores the centrality of God's Word in all divine actions, asserting that everything rests upon the solidity and integrity of His Word.

  • Presence Over Everything

Pastor Ryan began his sermon by distinguishing between the omnipresence of God—His constant existence everywhere and at all times—and the manifest presence of God, which is a tangible expression of God's presence in the natural world. This concept was supported by passages from Psalms 63:1-3 and Isaiah 43:2.

He emphasized that the presence of God should be esteemed as the greatest good.

    I) Presence over Blessings

    II) Presence over Ministry

    III) Presence over Comfort

    IV) Presence over Life

The sermon concluded with a resounding call to prioritize seeking God's presence above all—above blessings, ministry, comfort, and even life itself. By highlighting biblical examples like Moses, Paul, and the three young men from Daniel, Pastor Ryan underscored the eternal value and transformative power of God's presence in every aspect of life.

When we give to the church, we honor God and support its ministry. Giving a tenth of our income, or tithing, is a biblical principle that helps those in need and furthers God's work. • The Finger of God (Part 3)

This is the third part of a series on the Holy Spirit entitled "The Flow".

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

    John 7:37-39
