Setting the Atmosphere: Seeking the Things Above
Welcome to the very first episode of The Victory Podcast with your host, Empress Victory.
Before we share testimonies, discuss life’s challenges, and explore healing through Christ, we begin where every victory begins—in the presence of God. This first episode is a time of prayer, worship, and Bible study as we dedicate this podcast to the Lord and invite the Holy Spirit to lead every conversation.
Together we dive into Colossians 3, where the Apostle Paul reminds believers that because we have been raised with Christ, we are called to live differently. We discuss what it truly means to:
- Set our minds on things above.
- Put to death the old nature.
- Walk in forgiveness, humility, compassion, and love.
- Allow the peace of Christ to rule our hearts.
- Let God’s Word dwell richly within us.
- Honor Christ in everything we say and do.
This isn’t just another podcast—it’s a place where faith meets real life. We’ll have honest conversations about trauma, healing, psychology, spiritual growth, relationships, purpose, and how Christ gives us victory through every season.
Whether you’re searching for hope, rebuilding your faith, overcoming pain, or simply longing to grow closer to God, you’re welcome here.
Theme Scripture:
“And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts…”
— Colossians 3:14–15 (ESV)
