S1 E7: The Story of Art Without Men

10m | May 16, 2023

Back on books today on The Stuff Buff and I felt that this book that I mentioned briefly in E3 deserved a deeper dive. I do discuss an art exhibit that explores the history, present and future of lynching and state sanctioned violence against black people in the USA alongside other works and artists.

The Story of Art Without Men by Katy Hessel is available here in the UK and has just been launched in the USA so should be widely available there.

https://www.thegreatwomenartists.com/ has links to all things relating to Katy Hessel's podcast and instagram account.

The Story of Art by EH Gombrich is available here.

I discuss 3 artists in this podcast:
