Transitions: Letting go Is Not a Death Sentence
Some seasons are hard to leave, even when you know God is calling you forward. In this final episode of the Hope series, Melody shares what it felt like to walk the family property one last time before selling it, and what she learned about grieving what’s behind you while trusting what’s ahead. You don’t have to figure it all out. Your job is to let go and take one obedient step at a time. Releasing a season is not a death sentence. Hold onto hope, for there is a new thing springing up!
Homework: Write a goodbye letter to the season you’re leaving. Take the time to process how you’ve grown and consider the ways God held your hand. Then close the letter with three things you’re hopeful for in your future.
