Legally Blonde The Musical was at the Grand Opera House in Belfast between Tuesday the 21st of July and Saturday the 25th of July 2026, and I went to see it on the 22nd.Based on the 2001 film of the same name, the musical follows Elle Woods, a sorority queen who, after being dumped by her boyfriend before he sets off for law school, sets her mind on getting into the same law school so she can win him back. But shortly after arriving on campus, she learns she'll have to prove she's more than just the token blonde — that she's just as capable of understanding and succeeding in law as everyone else. The cast included:• Amber Davies as Elle Woods• Hannah Lowther as Margot (understudy for Elle Woods)• George Crawford as Emmett• Karen Mavundukure as Paulette• Adam Cooper as Callahan• Jamie Chatterton as Warner• Annabelle Terry as Vivienne• Jocasta Almgill as Brooke & Resident Director• Rosanna Harris as Serena• Ty-Reece Stewart as Kyle• Remi Ferdinand as Pilar• Bradley Delarosbel as Carlos• Keanna Bloomfield as EnidAnd the most important cast members (no disrespect to the humans):• Sprout as Bruiser Woods (the chihuahua)• Rocco as Rufus (the bulldog)So what did I think about the show overall?
