LegaSHE Builder Episode 11: How Model Ariel Simmons' Little Miracle Turned Her into a Published Author.
In this Episode, I welcome Ariel Simmons to the show. Ariel is a model, mom to son Malcolm and published author. Oh! I forgot to mention, she recently became engaged( now married!) .
After giving birth to her son early at 25 weeks, her strength would be tested day after day while he was in the hospital and after coming home. Being born a preemie, Malcolm wasn’t expected to make it. Yet, he pushed through all the odds and Doctors nicknamed him Miracle Malcolm.
Ariel always had a love for writing. And, after going through this storm with her family, she was inspired by Malcolm’s strength to tell his story and turn it into a book. She wanted to use this book to inspire other parents and kids going through their own struggles. She also wanted to give a gift to her son for years to come.
