In the field the slow down has continued yet again. However, the average price actually increased month over month! On average it is taking 28 days to sell a property. The number of new listings was down from last month as property owners are enjoying their last bit of summer. The average price for the month of August was reported at $632,777. This is up about 14,000 from last month. We saw Central Peterborough experience a bit of a slow down again. The average price sitting under $500,000 and the Number of Days to sell was up to 40.
