Pelo started off on DeviantArt and grew into YouTube, but really, he just does whatever he wants. Seriously. He wakes up and does whatever he wants to do. We learn the origins of his most recognizable character, Mokey, and his SNES origins. Once Pelo started making fun of Disney, Mokey’s universe expanded into a host of videos, half of which would get us demonetized if we described. Pelo blows things up, smacks tables, and mashes faces. He proudly makes his animations as dumb as he can possibly make them, and as he does it, he ramps up and amplifies the emotions to find the right balance of funny and annoying. Newgrounds is the ultimate bastion for tons of YouTubers, but Pelo… ehhhh. Not so much. But he does love Courage the Cowardly Dog. In TCU’s least surprising segment ever, Pelo absolutely nails Kevin’s brick-based creativity test, because Pelo. It’s actually a spinoff off the Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking, and it’s pretty good. We go into Spooky Month, Pump and Skid, and whether Pelo would ever make a network TV show. Then it gets a little Vsauce2-y with a discussion of neoteny and Disney’s rules for animating baby-like characters. But baby or not, Pelo just wants you to share, which is why he licenses everything under Creative Commons. We hit his game “Whatta Horrible Year,” his kerfuffle with Egoraptor, and some excellent Patron questions, including the technical details of recording crazy screams and hand injuries from slamming tables.
