What's In:

  • Reducing Glucose Spikes: After reading the "Glucose Revolution," my eating habits have transformed. Prioritizing veggies, healthy fats, proteins, and then carbs has revolutionized my health, managing cravings and hormone issues.
  • Visualization: Delving deeper into intentional visualization has been transformative. Stepping into a dream life mentally helps dissolve limitations and fosters a more fulfilling reality.
  • EFT Tapping: Daily tapping along meridian lines has been a game-changer. It neutralizes emotions and reduces their impact, offering incredible relief from anxiety and stress.
  • Investment in Self: Anything contributing to my growth – be it a hobby or health initiative – is a priority. Investing in oneself yields invaluable returns.
  • Movement for Joy: Moving the body daily is crucial, but it's about finding joyful activities. Sustainability is key in forming habits for long-term wellness.
  • Aligned Spending: Prioritizing investments that align with values, such as family time or experiences, ensures meaningful and fulfilling returns.
  • Mindful Morning Routine: A few intentional activities in the morning set the tone for the day, like gratitude practice or a quick course related to personal goals.
  • Coffee Enemas: Exploring detox methods like coffee enemas has caught my attention due to its numerous researched-backed benefits.
  • Living Life for the Story: Embracing opportunities, however small, as experiences to cherish and stories to tell.
  • Wearing Well-Fitted Clothes: Ditching ill-fitting attire for clothes that make me feel confident and comfortable.
  • Tea & Physical Books: Embracing the health benefits of tea and the joy of reading physical books to reduce screen time.
  • Spending Time Outdoors: Prioritizing outdoor activities for socialization and new experiences.
  • Hat Wearing: Protecting not just the face but also the scalp from prolonged sun exposure for healthier hair.

 

What's Out:

  • Traditional Dieting for Weight Loss: Recognizing weight loss as a symptom and not the root issue, I'm avoiding strict diets for holistic health improvements.
  • Unproductive Relationships: Cutting off connections that don't add value or positivity to life, aiming for mutually beneficial relationships.
  • Joyless Careers: Striving for work that's fulfilling and aligns with personal interests, rather than staying stuck in joyless occupations.
  • Mindless Scrolling: Ditching endless scrolling for productivity and investing time more meaningfully.
  • Seeking External Validation on Social Media: Posting for joy and genuine expression rather than seeking external validation.
  • Binge-Watching TV: Minimizing excessive TV time for more productive and fulfilling activities.
  • Ignoring Trauma Healing: Taking accountability for personal healing and growth, moving past past traumas.
  • Exclusive Reliance on Western Medicine: Exploring holistic approaches alongside Western medicine for a more comprehensive view of health.
  • Social Circle Expansion: Prioritizing new connections and experiences by stepping out of comfort zones.

 

This episode was a deep dive into what I'm embracing and leaving behind in 2024. It's not about perfection but intentional choices aligning with a more fulfilling future.
