• The Two Jacks - Episode 69 - Strife in Sydney

The Two Jacks examine recent violent events in Sydney, the most recent the stabbing of an Assyrian Orthodox Bishop in a church in Western Sydney and the tragedy of the Westfield attacks in Bondi Junction. In the void where information is not immediately forthcoming misinformation rules on social media and sadly in the mainstream media, too.

In sport, England left arm tweaker 'Deadly' Derek Underwood passes away while in the AFL, the Eagles have a new star.

  • The Two Jacks - Episode 68 - Biden Comes Back

The Two Jacks examine recent polling results in the US. Biden is coming back according to JTI who cites polling showing the incumbent is moving in the right direction.

  • Episode 158 - Bondi - $DJT - Lehrmann - SovCits - Pete

Big news week this one. The stabbing attack in Bondi has given us pause for thought on many levels. A lot didn't pause or think, however, and simply spoke. They spoke nonsense. Unfortunately this simply gave us more pause for thought. Things feel very messy.

Trump has set up an elaborate 'pump and dump' scheme with the $DJT stock backed by Truth Social. This idiot conman cult leader has managed to convince other idiots to part with their money because meme stock hysteria and general stupidity.

Nobody but the lawyers win with Bruce Lehrmann being legally declared (on a civil basis) a silly little rapist. Well, Justice Lee didn't call him that. But that's what he is.

In SovCits we see a classic traffic stop where Trish does not fuck around and Pete makes us upset with his personal preferences. They're shit and he should be ashamed of them.

PS - Episode is unedited because this is fresh news and I also have zero time to cut out Jack's breathing and lip smacks and my dopey mistakes - so enjoy this one nice and raw. This is what we actually sound like :-P

    Enjoy!

  • The Two Jacks - Episode 66 - Where to for the Liberal Party?

Expanded polling shows the Coalition has been unable to bridge the gap between it and the Albanese government. The polling at this stage in the electoral cycle remains stubbornly 52-48. Polling aside, the Liberal Party continues to ignore what was its constituency and has a serious problem with women voters. HK Jack says the Libs never really stood a chance of winning the next election given the serious rejection of the Morrison government. JTI maintains that a loss at the next election creates the possibility of an existential crisis within the party.

In other news, the Lehrmann-Higgins legal battles plummet to new depths with allegations Lehrmann lied under oath and forwarded copies of the criminal brief to the Channel Seven network.

Around the world, new Scottish laws again criminalise speech and in the US, Trump's Media network cops a flogging on the equities' markets.

In sport, the Rabbits chalk up a much needed win while the Pies are back in town in the AFL.

  • Episode 157 - Kambo Frog Poison

This week we are taking a deep dive into kambo frog poison. Two Australians are the subject of coronial inquiry after dying soon after the transdermal application of amazonian frog poison. Best part is - it doesn't even get you high. But it makes you sick. And then not being sick feels really good.

It's mostly dumb. Is there something to it? Maybe. But it's mostly dumb.

In sport, the AFL and NRL seasons are underway with JTI's beloved Blues already chalking up two wins.

Cookers have not been idle though they have been travellin'. What's the deal there? We look at comments from John Graham about what REALLY causes road accidents.

Mr. Lara Trump has found himself being completely burned by his Dad once again.

SovCits are doing bank things. It's incredibly silly. They shouldn't. But they do.

And a handy way to get out of paying to register a dog? Make it a person. Just follow this one trick magistrates HATE!

In Pete we look at bitcoin and speculate that maybe the cabal ain't so bad when it's making you some of that grass fed salmon money.

  • The Two Jacks - Episode 63 - Scomo, Spies and Sports.

The Two Jacks turn their attention to the breaking news of an unnamed federal MP who'd 'betrayed' his country to a foreign nation. Peter Dutton has his money on it being a Labor man. Hmm.

Scomo hangs up five pairs of boots after a teary speech in the House. How will history judge the man?

Alabama IVF clinics close in the wake of a judgment from the state's supreme court and that's a huge problem not just for Alabaman women but for Trump, says JTI.

Tunisian born resident of France for three decades gets punted out of the country for bagging le Tricolore. The French do go hard.

In sport, JTI says the pressure on the AFL to accept liability for historical child sexual abuse in the old VFL competition is mounting while England chalks up a 1-3 series losing moral triumph in India.

  • The Two Jacks Episode 62 - The Swift Phenomenon (FIXED)

Had a mix up with file names - uploading this one fresh in case the other one still plays the old episode on your podcast app!

JTI finds a dreadful case of government out of control in relation child sexual abuse. A waste of $10mil in public funds but a kick in the guts to victims of CSA still waiting on compensation.

The Taylor Swift Eras tour is underway in Australia bringing with it billions in economic activity. For all that, she has been subject to criticism from the Left - "too white, not sufficiently feminist" and from the Right who think's Swift is a liberal plant from the Biden Government. Whatever happened to appreciating other people's joy, folks?

Albo gets engaged and HK Jack plays wedding planner.

The two boat arrivals in WA have brought headlines but the real problem, HK Jack says is there are more than 100,000 asylum seekers in this country with their claims rejected. HK Jack has a solution.

In the US will Trump seek to implement an abortion ban 16 weeks after conception? JTI says the whole topic is political death to Trump.

  • Episode 155 - Crackers Hacked - Midazolam - SovCit Parents

Craig Kelly either got hacked or retweeted a video of incest foot porn. Dunno which - but it's difficult to be hacked in the way he is suggesting. Evidence points to no. BUT we must take him on his word. Must we? The lawyers suggest we should.

Economist turned cooker Dr. Wilson Sy has released a paper suggesting that COVID doesn't exist - and that it was simply a mass euthanasia program in the UK. Some deaths might be from the jab but the rest are from MIDAZOLAM. Segment is worth the listen just to hear Jack pronounce it.

We bring back BPFW thanks to a cracking submission from Garth but it went to the wrong person! So Jack had the joy of answering one.

And in SovCits we look at Shorty and Guru making a fuss at the court house in Wollongong.

    Aaaaaand Babet is a twat!

  • The Two Jacks Episode 61 - The Great Reset

The Stage 3 tax cuts as amended by the Albanese Government have been an early success. Does it give Albo the opportunity to reset the political narrative for 2024? The early polling is unclear and JTI suggests the polls can be ignored until the cash drops to the punters in July.

Nemesis runs on the ABC with most of the Libs and Nats giving us their take on the Abbott-Turnbull-Morrison Years. Why do they subject themselves to these exercises? Is it ego?

  • Episode 154 - Sound of Freedom Pt 2 - Paul Hutchinson

We're back with a deeper dive on the executive producer of the Sound of Freedom - Paul Hutchinson.

He's a money man. Made his money being a money man in real estate. Now he's a money man for the movies and a money man for saving the kids.

An interesting chap. Very accomplished if you take his word for it. But it seems like there might be an interesting relationship between Hutchy and the truth.

Does he suck as much as Tim Ballard? Maybe. Probably not. But the fact that we have to ask the question is why you need to listen to the episode.

    He sucks. Enjoy!

  • The Two Jacks - Episode 60 - Tax Cuts and Broken Promises

The electoral support for tax cuts is yet to drop and JTI says there's no point looking at polls until at least July when the money drops. Politicians lie as one of listeners reminds us (as if we needed reminding) and live to lie another day. HK Jack says there may be a little loss of skin but overall the package should be well received. The Government actuary (yes, there is one) predicts extraordinary cost blow outs in the NDIS over the next decade and HK Jack makes a few suggestions on how money might be saved to keep the programme going. In the US, polling shows Trump with leads in key battleground states but the Orange One is going to get hit hard in the wallet over the next week or two with multimillion dollar losses in court heading his way. In France, the farmers are blockading Paris. JTI says never get in the way of the Parisians and their food. Test cricket is back and so are the Windies while England also pull off a stunning win at Hyderabad.

  • The Two Jacks - Episode 59 - Albo's Tax Cuts

The Stage Three tax cut restructure has been announced. Albo has backed away from a promise and bracket creep remains real. He may lose some skin over it but overall, the announcement means 11 million Australian workers will pay lower taxes as of July 1. JTI believes it's designed to wedge Peter Dutton in the regions and outer suburbs where Dutton wants to take the Libs.

Scott Morrison resigns from the parliament. Where does he stand on the pantheon of Prime Ministers? A fair way down but not quite Billy McMahon status.

Trump takes New Hampshire but Nikki Halley is proving a difficult opponent.

South Africa goes to the elections later this year with the possibility that the ANC's lock on power may start to shift.

In sport, the BBL wraps up with the Heat winning the tournament as the Australians face the Windies in Brisbane and England play India in the first Test in Hyderabad.

  • Episode 152 - RIP Roger - WEF - SovCits - Pete

    EDIT - CORRECTION:

    From @daggydad on Twitter.

Dr John Campbell is an a&e nurse with a PhD, not a doctor of medicine.

    @GasmanR went on to elaborate

Small pedantic correction, Dr John Campbell is a nurse not a doctor. He does hold a valid Phd and can use the honorific doctor - but it is in the discipline of nursing education, he is not a medical doctor. While unfortunately a small number of my fellow doctors are raving cookers (including unfortunately a guy I went to university with and with whom I also did specialist training in anaesthesia - Paul Oosterhuis) Dr Campbell is owned by our nursing brothers and sisters. His descent from reasoned provider of sound information at the start of the pandemic into full on antivax disinformation grifter is well documented on both YouTube and Twitter by Australia's own Dr Susan Oliver and US based Debunkthefunk.

Thanks for everyone who wrote in to say that. We love getting corrected!

    -----------------------------------------------------------------

It's been a bit on and off recently but we are on. A bit of a hybrid episode that took the fast and loose nature of a Black Label with a bit of script to keep it tight.

Deep dives are on the horizon but the news keeps newsing and it's time to start delivering the goods. This week we look at the imminent (now very much completed) death throes of Roger Rogerson. Old mate dodged a lot of death in his time but finally it was falling over that really seemed to get him. What a bad person he was.

The WEF is annoying. Not because it's a meeting of elites who go skiing and talk about making a shitload of money from us peasants - but because idiot conspiracy theorists need to make it all about them. Disease X is especially annoying and so is that dickhead from Argentina. And Elon Musk. He is very, very annoying.

In SovCits we look at a bleach merchant from NZ who gets his comeuppance and Pete is still posting. Dunno why. Nobody except for us seem to care.

    Enjoy!

  • The Two Jacks - Episode 58 - Straya Day - Have we had enough now?

The Two Jacks discuss the latest furore over Australia's National Holiday. Have the arguments hit a new low? With Peter Dutton's calls to boycott Woolworths, the Two Jacks say it couldn't possibly get crazier.

A day of nationhood is needed, one that will unify Australians and not divide them.

In the US, Trump takes Iowa with Nikki Haley looking like having a fighting chance of winning New Hampshire.

Around the world, how do progressive Jews view the response from their fellow non-Jewish travellers. Has anti-Semitism infected the progressive Left?

In sport, we look at the West Indies tour and ask how can it be that their players earn one tenth of the Australian players. Is a bit of socialism required to keep Test cricket alive?
