Through their early childhood, day school and Tikvah Center, a specialized program for children on the autism spectrum, there are various opportunities for inclusion, both in the classroom and in social settings. Nicole Sperling is the admissions director of The Gordon School and explains the advantages of early childhood inclusion and how it helps develop crucial communication skills. She opens up about her experiences as a mother, educator and marketer, and shares tips for a school application process.

Tata’s Tip of the Week: Socialize with your kids

Get out there and socialize! Allow you and your child to meet new people. The more they socialize, the stronger language skills they will have. It helps promote non-verbal communication skills like eye contact and shaking someone’s hand.
