How gracious is gracious enough?

Date preached: 10th May 2026

TIDE Church is a diverse community of people on a mission to follow the teaching and life of Jesus. We are a Christian church based in Adelaide, Australia who are sharing the good news of Jesus with people everywhere.

Today’s message …

Some cuts you off in traffic … a friend says something nasty to you … your brother does that hurtful thing again … we’ve all asked ourselves the question: how gracious is gracious enough? How many times do I have to forgive someone? How many chances do you give someone before you cancel them? Jesus’ first followers asked the same question, and one day Peter had the courage to ask Jesus that very question. In this message we listen to Jesus’ response and we ask ourselves in our lives … how gracious is gracious enough?

Questions to reflect on and discuss from this message:

1. THINK: what is one thing that really stuck out to you in this message?

2. FEEL: how does this message make you feel?

3. DO: what will you do this week in response to this message?
