• Ep 56: How I am making Single Motherhood Easier

What happens when you finally admit, “I don’t like being a single mom”?

That doesn’t mean I don’t love motherhood. I love my children deeply. But I don’t love carrying so much alone, always being the one who has to figure it out, or feeling like struggle is simply something single mothers are expected to accept.

In this episode of Still Chosen: The Bold Believer Podcast, I’m getting honest about the parts of single motherhood I don’t enjoy—and the question that is changing how I approach them: What can I do to make our life easier?

We’re talking about identifying the real problem, finding the friction, creating simple systems and paying attention to the solutions that actually work. I’m not speaking as a mom who has everything figured out. I’m sharing what I’m actively figuring out—and inviting other single moms to do the same.

Because I don’t want the difficulty of single motherhood to steal the joy of being my children’s mother.

  • Ep 55: One Year after my Assault: Still Becoming

One year after surviving a physical assault, Terra reflects on what healing actually looked like after the visible injuries began to fade.

In this deeply personal episode of Still Chosen: The Bold Believer Podcast, Terra shares the physical, emotional, spiritual, relational, and financial effects of surviving violence; the difficulty of remaining quiet when she wanted to scream; surgery and recovery; rebuilding her strength; and learning that healing isn't always linear.

She also revisits a text conversation from August 18, 2025—just two days before the assault—in which she told a brother in Christ that she felt an unexplained "shift" happening in her life. Looking back one year later, she reflects on discernment, slowing down, listening to God, ending a fast earlier than expected, and the things we sometimes recognize only through hindsight.

This episode is about more than survival. It's about restoration, faith, discernment, accountability, and refusing to allow trauma to write the ending of your story.

  • Ep 54: You Can Say It Without Being Disrespectful

Have you ever walked away from a conversation thinking, "I understand what you were trying to say...but did you have to say it like THAT?"

Sometimes the problem isn't the message—it's the delivery.

In Episode 54 of Still Chosen: The Bold Believer Podcast, Terra reflects on recent workplace interactions that challenged her to think more deeply about respect, professionalism, empathy, compassion, and the way we communicate during difficult conversations.

From workplace leadership and education to parenting and family relationships, this episode explores how we can correct, disagree, set boundaries, and communicate expectations without humiliating or disrespecting the person on the other side of the conversation.

Terra also shares practical examples of how changing our words, tone, and approach can completely change the outcome of a difficult conversation.

The message may be necessary. Harshness isn't.
